This is one SERIOUS 'Hoody" and I almost hesitate to call it that, as it's really more of very nice jacket with a hood on the top :) Now, I' a 'big' guy and straddle the line between 2XL and 3XL for jackets, hoodies, coats etc. The one I received is a 2XL and though it 'fit's, it fit's a bit more snug than than usual, so for me, the 3XL in this style and fabric would be a better choice. That's not to say that the 2XL restricts my movement or binds me in any way as this jacket is well cut just a tad less 'voluminous' than I'm used to in a 'hoodie':). Nonetheless, the sleeves are long enough (which is sometimes an issue) and they close up just fine at the wrists. The interiors is a very soft and plush fleece giving you that 'warm and fuzzy' feeling, with the exterior of the garment being of a tighter and denser weave, even to being to some degree water resistant if not water repellent:). The garment is 'hefty' with a reassuring bulk to it and I have little doubt that someone out fishing along the Pac NorthWest Coast would be entirely comfortable working on deck in the morning drizzle:). I did that for years and would've appreciated having a jacket like this:) While it may seem a bit expensive, but trust me here, this is a HIGH Quality hooded jacket that will serve it's wearer well for many years. Again though, if you're borderline between sizes, you might go up one size to ensure you have the room for any anticipated under lying clothing . FIVE STARS and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

SITKA is known as high end, quality gear for the outdoors sportsman. This jacket doesn’t disappoint. The attention to detail and quality of the material is the defining worth of this jacket. The jacket is made with 85% cotton and 15% polyester. The cotton ratio is high which means the fabric breaths, yet is warm. The blend also makes the jacket more resistant to wrinkling. It’s thicker than other hooded jackets I own. Machine wash/dry. The interior and one side of the interior of the pocket is soft fleece. Cozy. The hood is double lined, adding warmth where it is needed most and has a draw string to shut out the wind. The stitching is double stitched. Check out the pocket stitching; it’s reinforced at the edges. The cuffs fit snuggly. The whole jacket is fitting, yet not tight. The arms and chest area allow for free movement, so comfortable and workable. The pockets are large enough for my whole hand and some. The zipper is quiet. The description says there is a secret zipped pocket, but if there is, they hid it so well that I can’t find it. I suspect there’s not one. No matter, this jacket is everything I want. The fit and finish of this jacket is undeniable. Very highly recommended!

I'm 6'2 and around 110 lbs, and I went with an XL size. I love that this hoodie has a long enough torso and sleeves that it doesn't ride up with active use. It also doesn't have that boxy feel that many others do. While there's tons of room for layering under it, it still falls nicely. The fabric is very comfortable, and the logo has a nice bright contrast on the black fabric. I wore this hoodie working outside in mild winter conditions and I was very warm and comfortable. It's a heavy-weight, so it might be too warm indoors depending on what you're doing. I wouldn't mind if the pockets were just a bit larger, but overall this is an outstanding hoodie.

This hoody has become my go-to for everything from morning walks to working in the garage when the temperature dips. The heavyweight fleece (330gm) gives it a substantial, cozy feel without being bulky. It’s cut well—athletic but not tight—and the double-lined hood definitely adds noticeable warmth when it’s windy. One of my favorite parts is the hidden zip pocket. It's subtle but functional—great for stashing keys or a wallet without creating bulk. The main zipper also feels pretty robust, not the kind that’s going to jam or break with regular use. A couple of small things to note: the cuffs are snug, which helps trap heat, but if you have thicker wrists or prefer a looser sleeve feel, you might find them a bit restrictive. Also, while the minimalist style works well for everyday use, it would’ve been nice to see just a bit more flair—maybe a small contrast stitch or subtle logo placement to break up the solid tone. That said, it's a solid piece of gear. The fabric has held up well through multiple washes with no pilling or fading, and it layers cleanly under a shell or vest. If you're after a durable, simple full-zip hoodie that leans functional without being flashy, this one's worth considering.

This Sitka hoodie is truly a high quality piece of clothing . Sitka is a clothing line that's made for the avid outdoorsman that is made from the highest quality material . This jacket is much thicker than any other Hoodie I own which makes it super warm during the colder months . it's made from 85% cotton and 15% polyester . The front pockets are pretty big so your able to fit your hands with no problem and the hood is also large so your able to wear a warm hat underneath. The inside of the jacket is fleece lined so it's comfortable and warm . It has a zipper in the front so it's easy to put on or take off . Machine wash or dry . If your looking for a high end quality zip up hoodie that looks great and keeps you warm the Sitka gear men's hoodie is a great value and will last for years to come .

This hoodie is nice enough. It fit my husband very well and it felt nice. My only issue is that we washed it and it has shrunk quite a bit. It still fits him but it’s not as comfortable as it was when he first got it. I would be careful what settings you use it on.
