i chose these panels over the higher end version and was not disappointed ,same heavy gauge galvanized steel. i bought a rubber mallet to pound in stakes.. i have an old post and pier house with long panels covering open sides. i live near a state park and always have had coon and possums digging under them . well , i started hearing them up under bathtub and then up the walls into the ceiling..yikes !! they kept tripping the traps and i was at the end of my rope. i am a retired lady on a fixed income and do not have endless amounts of cash to keep calling wildlife removal. so... one youtube video suggested marshmallows, and within 2 days i caught a small female, next night a large male possum. i just happened to stumble on these panels on amazon and started comparing them. i settled on this brand and crossed my fingers. when they arrived , i was surprised at the weight of them.solid hard to bend.because post and pier foundations are rocky, bring a shovel to trench down ,removing rocks, roots etc...press panels at angle and start pounding back and forth slowly straitening back up as close to foundation as possible .because of my situation, i pounded a weld loose and just shoved that one down. i am sure that if i had a regular track home there would be no trenching or other troubles that i have had. i back filled with topsoil and the small rocks and such. all in all....1.5 hour job..easy ! i have not seen animal tracks at all, so i think i fixed what would have been a much worst scenario..

Purchased these one day after moving into our new home!! Neighbors dog were coming under the fence!! We put these down and as you can see we didnt place them deep but the dogs have stopping digging to come over. FYI neighbor has big dogs i have yorkies!

I have Jack Russel's do I need to say more? Selling my home and needed an area I could place my dogs where they would be safe for a few hours at a time. The first time I tried they almost beat me back into the house by digging under the fence. I bought two packs of these, and the little rascals stay put until I go out and get them. Easy to install, really works well without worrying about anything they can get harmed on if they do try and dig out.

My Airedale, Izzy, is the worlds best digger. These Doniks No Dig Fence Animal Barriers strategically placed anywhere she wants to dig keeps her in my yard. I am a 63 y/o female. If the ground is hard I water it well. I use a 2x4 block and and a hammer to pound them into the ground. I push the tines into the ground a few inches, then place the 2X4 block on the top edge. Then using the hammer I pound first one end then the other until it is pushed in to the desired height. Izzy only tried to dig out the first one, now she knows it is futile. I keep a few on hand and check the fence line regularly, anywhere Izzy has begun to dig I place a new one. No more doggy escapes. Best of luck to you.

This product is better then I was expecting. Use a rubber mallet to drive it into the ground and t you shouldn’t have any issues with them bending as I previously read. Good bang for the buck with this product!

These get the job done I suppose, however the weld points are extremely weak. Just tapping in the product into Texas dirt broke numerous welds. Not thrilled with the quality at all.
