I did end up replacing the polishing pads as they didn’t hold up as well, but man! The machine itself is great. This item has been with me for a very short time. I ordered the DongCheng 12AMP Professional Car Buffer because I'm really passionate about keeping my car looking its best. I've tried a few different polishers in the past, but none of them have been quite as effective or easy to use as the DongCheng. The 12 AMP motor is really powerful and allows me to get a high-quality finish quickly and easily. Plus, the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold for extended periods of time, which is key when you're polishing an entire car. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this buffer to anyone who's serious about detailing their vehicle. I hope you find this review helpful.

Was pleased when it arrived and I felt the heft and ram through the speeds while plugged in. Comes with a spare set of brushes but unlikely I’ll put enough hours on it to where then out. I have one boat to polish a few times a year.

Comes with everything you need, the buffer, 2 application sponges, 2 handles and a polishing pad, it is kind of heavy and does get you tired. It has variable speeds and the trigger is pressure sensitive meaning the more u squeeze the more rpms you will get depending on what you st it to. it also has a safety function that stops the machine if you put too much pressure on it you just need to release the trigger and push it again to restart it. The sponges are cheaply made, one tore almost in half and the second one has a small tear now. I suggest washing the polish cloth first because it releases a lot of lint and I mean a lot.

Wow! The is a really heavy (HEAVY) duty powertool. It is the type of tool one would find in the tool box of professional automotive paint, detailing and refinishing shops. I believe this tool could be run all day without over heating or having problems. Your arms would fall off first. Rotation speeds can be adjusted from 600RPM to 3500RPM with a dial on the top of the handle which is easy to reach with your thumb. This is very nice. This will make compounding, polishing, and buffing my cars require FAR less effort, than doing it by hand. It comes with two different style handles, that can easily be removed and attached. It also comes with replacement brushes. I think you'd have to use the tool for a long time before you'd need to replace the brushes. The cord is generously long (almost 11 feet), and included are 2 orange (I presume "light cut") polishing sponges and a wool bonnet pad. The wool pad is attached via hook and loop (velcro), which is how most professional polishing pads are sold. So the base of this is what you would us to attached different pads. You will want to pickup a set of various cut polishing pads to go with this. If you can find 7" hook and loop pads that is what you want. The largest size I found easily was 6.5" pads which will work. You just don't want to hit your car's paint with the hook (or loop) surface. The orange pads that come with this are not replace-able, but they can probably get you started (and may last a long time). You will want lighter cutting pads so that you can control your work easily, and finish polishing. From what I've read, the wool is too abrasive and you probably don't want to use it. It would have been better if they had provided a microfiber pad. That would have paired well with the orange pads. The polishing sponges are permanently attached to their backing plates (not via hook and loop fastening), so these are consumable -- the obvious problem is where do you get more? Well, you don't. See below. The wool buffing pad is attached to a backing plate via hook and loop. So any replacement 6.5 or 7" hook an loop pad can be used. I asked the seller the following questions, which they answered quickly: Question 1: Do you sell replacement polishing sponges? (I couldn't find them in their amazon store) Answer: We do not sell replacement polishing sponges in our store now.But We will continue to introduce new products in the future, You can follow our store for new product notifications. We are a professional power tool brand with a history of 28 years. we will constantly improve our services to meet your requirements. Question 2: What is the size of the threads on the arbor? Answer: The threads on the arbor are a standard size 7/8 inch.This means that most accessories on the market can be used in this product.You can purchase additional accessories to meet your needs. Question 3: Since the tool came with and extra set of brushes of the electric motor, I figured it would be good to be buy replacements as some point. Do you sell replacement brushes for the motor? Answer: We currently do not sell carbon brushes separately.Considering the additional needs of customers, we have packed two high-quality carbon brushes with the product.we believe our quality can meet your long-term needs.If all your carbon brushes are used up, you can contact with our after-sales service. We make it a point to be known for customer service. We can certainly give you a satisfactory answer. The main negative for this tool that I see, is finding service centers or parts. This is a Chinese manufactured tool and I did not find US service centers. I did find service outlets in India. Servicing this tool would be difficult, unlike servicing US name brand tools like Dewalt, Milwaulkee, or Porter Cable, which can be serviced at most full service hardware stores. That said, given how solidly this is made, servicing is probably a long way in the future. It might be a problem for my heirs, but I don't I will need to get this serviced.

I got this polisher to get the shine back on my trucks paint job. Being a bit of a procrastinator and always find something else to do than wash and polish my truck I needed a way to cheat to make it easier. This polisher is a beast and now I don’t have to dread stranding hours removing the wax after applying it. Very well constructed and comfortable to operate and the variable speed is awesome when you try get in small spots and don’t want to over do it.
