I purchased one of these and my son bought me one. Well the connection cord did not come with his so now I am stuck with a useless panel. On my set up I set one one one shelf then one on another went to connect them like I did the other and realized it was missing. Well that costs 10 dollars more. And I can not contact them it was on my son's account. So I am not to happy he lost money. I did not want both panels on the same spot. And the sticky pads that I used are stuck. So now I am scared to break the panel trying to get it off to put right next to the other anyways. So I am bummed. My vegetables were sprouting and I wanted to start more. I got this light after moving my plants into a low light home. I have cactus, succulents, orchids and other small leafy plants. The orchids fared so well! More blooms than I’d ever seen. The charging plug seemed to wear out, about 3 months in, which I’d never really heard of. Support sent another very quickly. Seriously about a month without this light my orchid blooms on the other stem (it grew two, one with a ton and one hasn’t started yet) only grew 3 buds. Now hoping to bring it back to life. I got 2 sets of these lights for an automated plant cabinet I was building for my wife. I was checking for polarity and wiring details with a multimeter when I noticed the included power supply was pushing nearly 60 volts. These lights aren’t rated for anywhere near that (according to the listing) and I saw other reviews mentioning the power supply would get very hot or LEDs burning out early. So I ordered a decent quality laptop style charger capable of 50 watts in the correct voltage range. These are 20 watt lights, but I wanted 1 power supply to run 2 sets (4 panels), so 40 watt would be the minimum. Once that arrived, I lobbed off the connector and soldered on 2 connectors from the included power supplies. From there it all plugs in as usual, just a ghostbusters trap along the cord instead of 2 wall warts. Ooh, and a ground prong into the wall since I’m using it in a humid environment. The set also comes with double-sided prongs to link 2 panels together. Since I needed them separated, I used speaker wire to extend them. Worked great, but required a single twist to align correct polarity. Overall these seem to be great led arrays with an iffy power supply. I mean it could be the listing and product don’t exactly match and they’re fine at 60V, but they work just as well at nearly half that voltage and I’m happy with my upgrade, even if it took a little more money and effort to correct. I was curious and opened one of the included power supplies and didn’t see anything wrong. Like they seem to be well made and of decent quality, just with an output that doesn’t match the listing nor the stampings on the housing. Real puzzle to me, but it did work, so can’t fault it too hard. If you don’t mind splicing wires, these are great. If you plan to use it as is, don’t leave them on unless you’re nearby. ... show more

These lights are great and a great price! My boyfriend built me this stand but I wanted to add some lights. With the shelves is made it kind of difficult. These lights were perfect and my plants are THRIVING!! I started off with two and actually got two more because my plants with the lights were going so well. I have only had one fall and it was right after applying it. As long as you use all of the stickies they give you, you should be fine! The only thing I will say is it comes with a lot of extra parts, which is fine. Better to have extra abs not enough! Also they do take up A LOT of outlet space! ... show more

Love these lights they are perfect for my indoor greenhouse. I started gardening last year and learn so much from trial and error. These lights have made it extremely convenient to start my seedlings indoors. I have bought a few of them waiting on additional ones today. I love the feature where you can connect multiple to one power supply or use the two in one to make a longer one. They have been extremely helpful and was very affordable. The Panels looked complicated but after opening the box and putting everything out on the table. The actual panel units and plugs was easy to assemble. The lights looks amazing in my mini greenhouses. Im not sure how well they help the plants grow yet but so far its a great product.

I am starting exotic colored carrots and beets for my garden in a section (layer) of a Greenstalk stacking planter. it is set in a south-facing bay window and the planter is inside an aluminum foil lined cardboard box that is completely open to the window on its front. Plants are growing well, but those on the side farthest from to window were leaning towards the window and getting stemmy.
