So I recently got a new 2021 Honda Civic hatchback and needed something that would protect my doors from my doggie's nails. This product has three, skinny, flexible tabs that slip into the spaces in between your windows and velcro areas attached to the back: 4 along the top and 2 along the bottom. One of my dogs has anxiety issues and goes back and forth from the back windows and just has a lot of nervous energy so I opted for utilizing the velcro for a little extra hold just in case. I take my dogs with me quite frequently so the velcro adhesives on the door don't bug me that much. If you only plan to use these occasionally or have calmer dogs, I dont see a need to use the velcro as I feel the plastic pieces would suffice. One major thing that was a selling point for me were the plastic pieces, I didn't want anything thick or bulky ruining or scratching my new windows. Thankfully, I havent had any problems with any marks or scratches. I've had these for about a week and have rolled the windows up and down more than a few times a day and havent had any problems of the plastic tabs slipping out or causing damage. For civic hatchback owners: this covers the back doors completely and , to my surprise, quite perfectly. If you do decide to use the velcro , I only used the two end parts on the top row and the bottom right portion and it stays pretty well - you dont *need* to attach all of the velcro pieces. ... show more

I really like these. However it comes with velcro strips to keep in place on door panel. Mine won’t stick. Not sticky enough. I’ll have to come up with another solution. Other than that I would give it 5 stars.

It's a prefect fit for a windows down type of day. My pet isn't too rowdy so it sticks well, although if your pet is a bit rough it may get unstuck from just the window clamp and may require the velcro.

Make sure you are purchasing the ACTUAL DogLemi product. I recieved 2 door covers in a "DOGLEMI" bag with PETEVO door covers made in China! There was 1 plastic door tab on 1 cover and NONE on the other!!
