    • Good product, good company, good purchase
These bags are thicker than I imagined, and I am NOT complaining. They are durable and hold up well in the case, while picking up dodo, and on the duration of the walk until we reach a garbage. They are soft and quiet - which is not something I was particularly looking for, but is something I like! The case/dispenser has axels inside to hold the little cardboard tube centered. This is a feature I had never seen in a poo bag dispenser before. As a mechanical engineer, I LOVE IT. I never have a problem getting the bags out. The tear line is also easy to find. I have used other bags where I struggle in the daylight or the dark to find where to tear. These bags tear nicely and the perforations are large enough that the location is easy to spot, even in dim lighting. I like that the dispenser is white and neutral - it matches my dog's blue collar/leash/harness set and her purple one. I also adore that these bags are compostable. I'm not a fan of single-use plastic. In addition, Doggy Do Good gives back through Animal Welfare Organizations and Environmental Non-Profits. That is a company I have no problem supporting! I've already purchased more bags in bulk, and will be using these as long as I can. A++! ... show more

I left one of these outside on the grass for one or two weeks. It rained and snowed. It was only slightly sticky when I went to go use it. But I like knowing it is biodegradable. They can fit both of my hands when trying to scoop up those big poops my Doberman makes. They’re also pretty durable. Gone through maybe 15-20 rolls. Haven’t had any issues with tears yet.     • Love these truly “green”, compostable bags

I’ve been using the Doggy Do Good bags for a few years now and like them so much better than other brands for a few reasons. 1) Compostable/non-plastic! The other “green” brands are still selling plastic bags, with recycled cardboard roll-cores. 2) I love the smooth feel of the material & they’re very sturdy. 3) Large opening minimizes my chances of a mess. 4) Easy to open. Unlike a lot of the plastic bags on the market, the smooth material of these makes them really easy to open and use - proven great for winter walks with freezing hands and a need to be quick! Long story, these are great bags, very well made and you’re actually buying a green product and not contributing to single use plastic waste. Also, the company is living up to their name and doing good too, donating a portion of their proceeds to rescues, sanctuaries, & animal welfare organizations! Buy the bags :) ... show more

I was contacted by the company, who worked with me and explained there was a bad lot. I accepted a replacement and found the quality was back to normal. I appreciated their follow through and follow up, in addition to the replacement. It's working well for me. If you have received a product that was inferior to their normal quality, I encourage you to contact them and work through it. If you are like me, it matters to have an environmentally sound alternative that really works. Thank you! Original review: I had these on subscribe and save. Cancelled. They have become so incredibly flimsy that just opening the bag tore 3 of them. I've never had this problem in the past. I was using them for the cat litter box, and it usually took me one bag per trip without issue. Now, it's taking 3 bags, often with two of them tearing! A finger or even just putting something in the bag is enough to tear it. This was a waste of money for me and a pain to clean up the mess when the bag failed to hold together. ... show more

I've been using these for my cats for a couple of years now. Pros: + Environmentally friendly. + Fairly easy to open but they do stick a little. + Good size. + Pretty sturdy: one bag often suffices for 2 cats. + I haven't had them rip while actually using them (but see below). Cons: - They rip 5-10% of the time either while taking them off the roll or while opening them. - They're not airtight (understandable but still important to know), so you don't want to put them in a trash can inside the house. ... show more

These are my favorite of the many dog poop bag (brands) we've tried out. I like that these feel thin- like a soft balloon- so you can sort of feel through the bag (that you've got the whole emoji), but at the same time they're strong /and leakproof. It's awesome that these bags are polyethylene-free, biodegradable, and certified home compostable. The company stands by it's product too-- and gives back a percentage of it's profits to rescues and no-kill shelters. Good job Doggy Do Good! :) ... show more

    • Perfect size
These bags feel very nice, for whatever reason. I bought the large and they are the perfect size to reach my hand into, grab the turd, pull it up inside of the bag and do that lightening fast reverse-a-roo to knot that so many of us are well-rehearsed in. It’s also nice to know that these are biodegradable. I have not tested this claim as I don’t leave them piled up anywhere. I also bought these to dispose of litter box waste and they are perfect. No aroma seeps out of these so I’m comfortable tossing them in my regular household trash bin. So far, no poo on my hand and no holes like regular plastic bags tend to get causing the unthinkable while you’re out on walks, at the park, or in a hurry. ... show more
