We recently added a second dog to our family. Having a puppy I didn't want him running around our rural location with our older pup so I created a dog run area to keep them safe and in the yard. But with this needed a way to keep that area clean for them. This product works great! I love that everything stays contained in one easy set of tools. The little rake works awesome to pick up piles and individual pieces. Scoop it in and go. Not sure why the complaints about the bag or placement of the hook to hold it down. One side has a double hook thing, so you put the bag in and pull both sides under this hook and you're done...see photo. It stays in place just fine, no need for rubber bands as some described. Haven't tried plastic grocery bags yet but I'm sure they work great too, size would be perfect. Handle has a clip so you can attach rake to the handle of the container keeping everything in one unit which is awesome. The container pushes down and opens up so you can pick up any messes and go. When closed seems to stay fairly tight and stands up on its own. Holds quite a bit so I can go multiple days without emptying it. I have medium size dogs so their messes aren't that big. Could see if you have large dogs with large messes you might only get a few piles before you need to empty it. My husband initially was like "just use a shovel". But then what? Walk it to a garbage can or back of our property everytime? When he used this, he said, wow this really does work great! We have a large yard too so if they are out and about this makes it super easy to walk around and clean up. The lid design is a definite plus; it securely locks in place, keeping unpleasant smells and moisture sealed away while also deterring flies. The large bin capacity is a game-changer, especially with a small dog. I can use the same bag for multiple days before discarding it on trash day, reducing waste. However, there's one drawback I've noticed. The bag doesn't have a secure locking mechanism, and it sometimes drops into the bin when I'm moving around the yard. It would be great if there was a better way to ensure the bag stays in place. I have two dogs, one of them being a great Dane. Needless to say, there is plenty of poop to pick up on a daily basis! I was also tired of my outdoor waste bin smelling and attracting so many flies. After seeing how expensive outdoor, lidded dog poop containers were, I opted to give this a try. I am so glad that I did! The quality is very good and I love that the liners make tossing the poop so easy! I can just tie up the bag when I’m done and chuck it. I also love the lid on it. It closes up nicely when I don’t have too much waste to toss. I could go on, but just do yourself a favor and get it. You can thank me later. ;) ... show more

    • It's a good deal
Pros: 1. The rake works really well to scoop 2. The trashbag is well secured to the can via the loop 3. It opens and closes easily once you get the hang of it 4. When closed the smell doesn't seem to escape 5. Bag replacement is a fairly clean process since it is well secured Cons: 1. The handle to the trashcan seems to come loose pretty easily and you have to tighten to get it to open as expected 2. It does take a little practice getting it to open and close smoothly 3. The rake isn't well placed with the attachment for storage and causes it to tip over 4. Since it's a rake and not a shovel be prepared for leaves to join the mix- I don't really mind but it does mean more bag usage Overall it's made cleanup much easier and I think gluing the handle to the trashcan will fix my biggest issue. ... show more
