Finally I have found a bone that can withstand my pup! My puppy is half border collie and half Australian shepherd; but there may be some tasmanian devil genetics in there.... he... destroys... everything! Every toy that has come through his paws, I have to throw out within a matter of minutes or within an hour. But this bone keeps him occupied for long amount of times, which is nice, especially when he gets sqiurrelly. The bone hasn't degraded as fast as other toys. The ends are a bit frayed, but the structure of the bone is still intact. Thank you, thank you for making a chew toy that my dog won't destroy anytime soon. ... show more

After one day, it went into the trash. The bone is very hard plastic and the resulting chew marks on it are very rough and sharp. My large dog is an aggressive chewer and, in no time at all, he had cuts in his mouth & gums from this plastic bone. Once I saw blood, that thing was tossed in the trash.

We adopted a puppy last year. Even though she has stopped growing, she is still very puppyish and she still chews. I ordered this for her, if she has chew toys she's less likely to chew my furniture to my shoes, so its everyones best interest that she has something she likes to chew. This is her favorite, she carries it all over the house and then she takes it in her bed at night. Its probably going to last forever, you can barely tell she chews on it every day. ... show more

Was really excited for this toy given all the terrific reviews. My 30 lb 1 year old dog is a pretty powerful chewer so I thought this would be the one to survive. Unfortunately, my dog ripped it apart within 1 hour of having it and I had to throw it away. He was able to bite off little pieces and almost swallowed them but thankfully I got them out of his mouth before that happened. Really disappointed given the price & the other seemingly terrific reviews. If your dog is a similar power chewer I would definitely not waste your money on this!! ... show more

My dogs love this bone. I'm pleased with the sturdiness as my pitties are chewers and destroyers. The ends of the bone no longer resemble the bone shape but it's a still a favorite. I will buy more of these.

My 3 year old 15 lb chiweenie loves this chew toy. He is an extreme extreme chewer. He is getting pieces off but that is what I think its meant to do. The way this chew toy is shaped makes it GREAT for him to hold and chew. He loves it and therefore I love it. He just stopped playing ball, went to his toy box, and smelled arround until he found this chew toy. He has been chewing on it for the last ten minutes and still is. My other dog, a 2 year old, 14 lb chihuahua loves this chew toy as well. He isnt as aggressive of a chewer, but loves it just as much. They both have one, both the large size. If you are concerned with your dog eating pieces off than I dont recommend this, but it is made of pet safe material and I think its intended to be chewed. It keeps my boys busy and happy all while helping keep their teeth clean. ... show more
