My puppy, Gnawlok the Destroyer (nobody calls him that), loved to chew and destroy. He needed a toy that could also double as plate armor for a tank. While this isn't ready for the battlefield, it is extremely durable, and it's helped me train him to chew his toys differently, extending the life of all of the other toys. When he chews it on the end like a bone or trying to nip and tear, it's sturdy enough to not make a squeak. However, chewing in the middle, it gives him that squeaky satisfaction AND something I can instantly reward. This was completely unintentional at first, but turned out to be a great training moment for him, and it's transferred to how he chews his other toys. I'd easily give more stars if I could, and have already bought backups. Now, if only they can make a rug-shaped toy for my good boy...

This was perfect for both my dogs. I have a king Corso mixed with a rot and a pitbull mix with a Corso they love this toy they play with it for hours and it holding up very well for the cost.

My dog is a half black lab/half pittie & a very aggressive chewer she goes through toy bones very quickly, to the point they're so slivered up within 2 days, sometimes slightly longer, I have to get rid of them, they never last long, except for whole antlers and some split antlers. Although she rarely touches the whole antlers . Anyways, this is a great tough toy for strong large breeds. It squeaks in the center if you squeeze hard enough but the toy/bone was a bit too heavy for my girl. I got her the next smaller one and she still plays with the big heavier one more than the one that fits her perfectly so go figure. It's a great product and definitely recommend for heavy chewers. I only took a star off because of the weight I was extremely surprised by how heavy it was, but that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on the dog, this size is just not for my dog. I think I've had it about a month and she does play with it, not as much as her other toys, but it's still in amazing shape even with her heavy chewing.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this toy at Christmas for my two very aggressive chewers, fully expecting it to last a week at best. Months later, it’s still going strong with barely a mark on it. They play tug, they gnaw nonstop, they drag it everywhere — and it just keeps holding up. I was so impressed I ordered a second one. If you have dogs who usually destroy toys in minutes, this one is absolutely worth it.

I have two extra heavy chewers, and they were gifted one of these a few years ago, and it lasted for a long time. We were shocked. I purchased this one recently, and within a couple of days, my dog had to end cap chewed off and could have eaten it! I don't understand why it does not seem to be adhered to the rest of the rubber. It is very dangerous! I'm very disappointed because my dogs love these toys.

This was the one and only toy that kept a squeaker squeaking. My dog is obsessed with it. Well, actually both my dogs are. I need to order another one. I have never had a dog toy that has survived more than 24 hours of squeaking. I have a pitbull and a German Shepherd. They love this toy. I absolutely 1000% suggested.

I had high hopes for this toy, I was so excited about it. I have aggressive chewers, two Malinois/Dutch Shepard mixes and a Pit. The Shepard's chewed pieces off of it in literally 5 minutes. At the ends there is a small lip and that's where they started chewing pieces off. I had ordered a second one before I gave them this one (early Christmas present) because when I received it I noticed it felt very sturdy and durable. They do like it so since they already chewed this one I'm going to see if I can shave that lip off and maybe they won't get anymore pieces off. That'll decide if I return the one that arrives tomorrow. Maybe not good for super aggressive chewers. It's very thick and seems well made. Might just be better for other dogs.
