Love this dog ramp! This kind of ramp is much better than the ones made of wood. It's very sturdy and heavy compared to wood. Puppies or dogs won't chew on this compared to wood and cause damage. I also like that you can carry this like a briefcase, if and when needed, but mentions not frequently. I placed exercise mats underneath as I have tile and will prevent it was sliding. I highly recommend this one. Prior, I bought the wood type that did not fold and wasn't aware it was a resale item. Upon arrival, one side of the wood rail was cracked, so I returned and was glad I did. This is so much nicer.

I thought it seemed very sturdy, nice and heavy.... But my dog used it a couple times, and my dog weighs 15 lbs, and the wire rings that hold the ramp together stretched out and broke off! I thought of fixing it, but it would just break again, so I sent it back....

I bought this so my puppy could get up and down from the couch as he wanted to without help, he is very smol, but he does not want anything to do with it and just asks to be pulled up by his harness. The quality and fuction of the product is good it works, is easy to set up, and is overall very solid. Too bad only the cats use it, even though they dont need to, but thats not the ramps fault

The ramp itself is pretty solid and I like the carpet on it, great for traction as my cats climb the ramp. The problems I have are : 1) The locking bar that you use to lock the ramp at the desired height/angle comes back out too easy. It hasn't happened while a cat is on it and I don't think that it could if you have the bar inserted into one of the notches properly but if you pick the ramp up to move it that locking bar comes out. You sit it back down and the bar locks in at a different angle or just doesnt catch another notch and lies down flat. The bar should've been made slightly fatter or the receiving notches slightly smaller so that the bar fit more snug and only cames out when you want and are expecting it to. 2) The second and definitely most frustrating issue with the ramp is the cheap little locking latches that were used on both sides that are used to lock the two piece ramp together, making it essentially one piece that doesn't fold. That's the idea anyway. The square piece (as seen in the photo I attached) on the latch that is used to lock onto the receiving piece on the other board nonstop bends out of shape and falls off. I've only had the ramp a couple weeks at most and I'd say I've had to re-bend and put those pieces back on with pliers 5-6 times. It's not the hardest thing in the world, though it's not exactly easy either. For someone who isn't used to doing something like that or with using pliers it could certainly be very difficult. It being hard or easy to do is irrelevant anyway, it's not something the custoner should have to do, especially with an item so new. These pieces came brand new out of the box bent on both sides and were just hanging from one end, so I had to fix this the first time before ever even using the ramp. Not good. Easily could've been prevented by using a thicker and or stronger metal. That whole latching piece was made with metal that is way too thin/weak. Not to mention these little latches are spring loaded and while trying one of the times to bend the one side of the square bar back into the hole the end of that spring pierced my thumb. Ouch. I took 1 star away for the height/angle locking bar issue. It's not a huge problem but is a nuisance. I took 2 stars away for the cheap latches that were used. I honestly wanted to take all the stars away for that problem because it's extremely frustrating and the fact that it could've been easily prevented. I didn't because there are things about the ramp I do like. These aren't the most expensive ramps out there but they cost enough that better hardware could've been used. I'll likely end up upgrading the hardware myself and that's unfortunate. Like I said the ramp itself I like and have no complaints with but the hardware used on it is a different story. You should immediately start using stronger latches and if you did you'd have a really nice product at a fair price.

The design of this ramp was nice. The ability to adjust allowed for some small raising and lowering. However it was only good for our low couch and not our bed. The weight was somewhat heavy, not flimsy. I felt it was safe for our small dog (under 10lbs). The ramp materials were quality and not slippery. Folding was not difficult, however missing clamp made closing and securing in place impossible. But had the clamo part not came broken it would be great. I did feel I had to use caution when setting up and closing, so as not to scratch our laminate floor. But once set up I didn't feel it would scratch floor. We returned due to damage with secure clamp, would have reordered if it was the right size for our bed and not just couch.

Ramp works great for my little dog. It’s easy to collapse. Decent price. Isn’t to heavy. My dog likes it and uses it a lot. It saves her little back and legs.

This ramp is absolutely awful !! When it’s on it tallest setting it becomes a seesaw and is unsafe. The photo shown is the locking mechanism is supposed to keep the ramp from folding, but my 13lb dog went up the ramp a second time and it snapped causing it to fold and ultimately causing my dog to not only fall off of it but now he’s scared of it which makes the next option we get more difficult for him to trust. Do Not Waste Your Money on this item.
