I bought this in a small for our doxy who is about 10 lbs. This is a very good life jacket. This is the third jacket I’ve bought. The first was great but just got old and worn. The second (I tried a completely different jacket) came too far back, it had to be removed when the dog needed to potty. Obviously this wouldn’t be a problem if you have a female dog. We had lots of problems with that second jacket. This jacket works perfectly. It is sturdily made. And this fabric doesn’t seem to get him as hot as neoprene like fabric of his second jacket was. It stays in place well too. That’s why buy a life preserver. The handle provided on the back makes it very easy to load him off and on the boat as he’s too small to jump up there. ... show more
