    • Easy after 1st assembly step

Looks great like real furniture. Figuring out how to place the hinges was a little challenging on the first step of assembly, but after that everything was easy. You do not have to attach the feeding bowls if you do not want to. I opted to leave those off since I am keeping this in my bedroom.

This crate is super cute! But it definitely is not sturdy enough to transport. The first time we tried to transport it, the knob to close the gate broke off so easily. My bf fixed it, but definitely won’t be moving it again.

My cat loves her little "doggy" furniture crate house!! The wood is sturdy (there's no smell) and when we had to go to a hotel it was very easy to pack up and move! I put some wire around the two poles in the front bc she's able to squeeze out- but it's really not needed bc once she's in- she doesn't like to leave. There's also a heated mat inside ( not included). I love the food bowls that swing to the front. ... show more

    • No idea how to put the hinges on

Thought this would be an easy one to put together since it’s collapsible but of course no I have no idea on how to put tithe hinges on the screw holes are in the back but from the instruction it supposed to go on on the inside, but even with the inside the screw holes on the lid or too far back so it doesn’t line up with the latch so as of right now, I do not have the hinges on and just latch the top and put heavy items on the back to keep my pup from jumping out ... show more

I should note up front that our two pups are male Bichons, ages 13 and 17. They are potty trained, and crate trained from the beginning. For 17 years, we have been using a simple wire crate that sits in our master bedroom. This unit is a wonderful upgrade, and the 5" covered memory foam cushion we had in our old wire crate fits PERFECTLY in this new unit. Our dogs usually sleep while crated (when we leave the house, or when we have repair/service technicians in the house), so this unit provides them what they need when we are away. Assembly went smoothly, and required only one person to assemble the unit. I think this is a great crate option for a dog who is already crate and potty trained. And, it looks much nicer in our bedroom than the previous wire crate unit. Additionally, I love that I can safely set something on top of the crate, without having to worry about collapse as I did with the previous wire crate unit. This unit comfortably fits our two Bichon boys, who are 17lbs a piece. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It took me longer than expected to assemble the crate because the instructions were a little confusing about how to put the hinge. I will show how the back of it looks for you have a better idea. I like that the crate uses typical color so it blends well with my furniture. The width of the crate is open, so if your pet likes to aim outside of the crate, be mindful of that. My crate came with a small crack on the front of it, but it’s not a big deal.
