Please be aware, the thickness is nice and comfy I’m sure, but a issue with it. The thickness is thicker that the cage threshold is, entry is not an issue but on exit my 11 week Australian Shepard gets his foot hang up between the pad and the threshold, this has happened 4 times now, the first time I wasn’t looking directly at him or the cage so wasn’t sure what happened, I first thought there was a sharp point or something on the wire cage but I found nothing. He actually came out one time and just kept yelping and limping like he broke his leg, he didn’t and the limping went away in a few minutes. I have rolled up a towel to tighten the void, the pad is sized correctly to the kennel before thinking that’s an issue. I remove the towel while it’s closed as with most puppies he wants to chew Once he gets bigger I don’t think this will be an issue, just wanted to warn others having a small puppy or a smaller breed using the larger kennel. It’s the perfect size for the crate I have. Easy to remove bed cover. Complaint: the dog smell seeps through the cover and into the bed so it kind of defeats the purpose of removing the case. I bought another dog bed from bedsure and the smell doesn’t seep through. Also, when washing the bed, the cotton contents shift around so you kind of have to remold it back into the right areas. I bought this to fit inside my puppies crate and it has worked out great! FYI: queen size pillow case fits perfectly on 23 x 17 (small) cushion, so I can change frequently when needed. I like that it unzips and the cover is washable if needed. My puppy did have an accident on the way home from puppy training, but didn’t need to wash it, only the pillow case since I used an under pad between the cushion and the pillow case. ... show more
