This toy is super cute and surprisingly durable—my dog absolutely loves it. He’s a strong chewer, and this has held up really well without showing much wear, which says a lot. The textured zigzag/corn design keeps him engaged and also helps with his teeth while he chews. The squeaker is an added bonus and definitely grabs his attention without being overly annoying. I also appreciate that it’s made from sturdy material that doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. Overall, it’s functional, well made, and a great value for the price. The Dog Chew Toy with Squeaker provides a mixed bag of experiences for my Scottish Terrier. While it initially showcased sturdiness and entertained my furry companion, the durability of the squeaker fell short of expectations. As a result, I give this chew toy an overall rating of three stars out of five. To begin with, the Dog Chew Toy demonstrated sufficient durability to withstand the enthusiastic chewing of my Scottish Terrier. Its construction appeared sturdy and capable of handling the tenacity of a medium-sized dog. I appreciated its ability to withstand rough play and remain intact, providing my pet with extended chewing enjoyment. However, my excitement waned when my dog managed to destroy the squeaker within a relatively short span of time, approximately 40 minutes. The absence of the squeaker significantly impacted my dog's interest in the toy. While he still chews on it, the lack of the enticing sound diminishes his excitement and engagement. As a result, the overall appeal and entertainment value of the chew toy are noticeably reduced. Despite the disappointment with the squeaker, the chew toy itself remains functional for my Scottish Terrier's chewing needs. The durability and ability to withstand his chewing habits are commendable. Nevertheless, the lack of a working squeaker does impact the overall experience and diminishes the toy's appeal. In conclusion, the Dog Chew Toy with Squeaker provides a mixed experience for dog owners. While it exhibits adequate sturdiness for moderate to intense chewing, the squeaker's durability is a concern. The initial excitement and engagement diminish once the squeaker is destroyed. This is the best toy! Our pittie mix is the very definition of an aggressive chewer, destroying most toys in under an hour. This has been one of the few toys he loves, but hasn’t been able to destroy in six months! We have two, because it’s his favorite toy. The rope part lasts about 10 minutes, but once that’s dispensed with, it’s indestructible.

Overall, this is a great chew toy; not to hard, actually pretty soft to the squeeze in your hand so it's soft on the gums of your pet in attempt to act as a toothbrush. The cob is actually durable (so far) and my dog loves it. However, the squeaker didn't last 30 seconds. Upon inspection of its failure it was plain to see the manufacturer focused more on the toy than the squeaker as is was just barely poked into the end of the cob with little to nothing in the way of a retention area to keep it inside the toy. it just popped right on out after a coupe of squeezes. Nonetheless, the ear of corn is my dog's favorite toy, for now...

I have yet to find a chew toy that my dog could not at least partially destroy in at least a week, and usually a day, until now. He has aggressively chewed this thing for about 5 minutes at a time several times a day for over a week. There is not a tooth mark on it except for the squeeker. He always kills and/or removes those first thing. In plush toys they usually last about 5 minutes or less. The instructiions say to not allow them to chew more than about 15 minutes. He gets bored before then so no problem. That's about his limit with any toy.

Just over a week since I’ve had this and my three year old golden doodle ripped off the rope and broke the squeaker part. Actual toy part is holding up nicely. Fingers crossed!
