Honestly I picked this toy cuz I thought it was cute and hoped that my easily bored 1 year old dog would find all the "kernels" satisfying to chew on. This toy is higher quality then I expected! Has some weight to it but not too heavy for the pup to carry around all day. The squeaker is still going strong even after a month of solid squeaking (much to my ear's displeasure) and I don't see him destroying it in the near future. He loves to chew it, carry it around, throw it, hide it, tug on it, anything he can think of. This became an overnight favorite and I'm very pleased with its durability. We got another popular toy on Amazon in the same order and it's already a lot worse for wear, while this one only has has the rope part come unraveled, the actual corn part still looks brand new. Extra cute if you've got farmers in your family!

Squeezer broke on third chew. Chewed thru rope within 10 minutes . But, it looks the cob will last a long time. My dog loves the cob as a chew and fetch toy. Yes, I would buy this product again knowing the short comings.

The Dog Chew Toy with Squeaker provides a mixed bag of experiences for my Scottish Terrier. While it initially showcased sturdiness and entertained my furry companion, the durability of the squeaker fell short of expectations. As a result, I give this chew toy an overall rating of three stars out of five. To begin with, the Dog Chew Toy demonstrated sufficient durability to withstand the enthusiastic chewing of my Scottish Terrier. Its construction appeared sturdy and capable of handling the tenacity of a medium-sized dog. I appreciated its ability to withstand rough play and remain intact, providing my pet with extended chewing enjoyment. However, my excitement waned when my dog managed to destroy the squeaker within a relatively short span of time, approximately 40 minutes. The absence of the squeaker significantly impacted my dog's interest in the toy. While he still chews on it, the lack of the enticing sound diminishes his excitement and engagement. As a result, the overall appeal and entertainment value of the chew toy are noticeably reduced. Despite the disappointment with the squeaker, the chew toy itself remains functional for my Scottish Terrier's chewing needs. The durability and ability to withstand his chewing habits are commendable. Nevertheless, the lack of a working squeaker does impact the overall experience and diminishes the toy's appeal. In conclusion, the Dog Chew Toy with Squeaker provides a mixed experience for dog owners. While it exhibits adequate sturdiness for moderate to intense chewing, the squeaker's durability is a concern. The initial excitement and engagement diminish once the squeaker is destroyed. I have a 7 month old Samoyed, I liked how cute this was and the ability to spread something like peanut butter in the grooves. What i really didnt like is that it lasted him 4 days before he destroyed it enough to toss out. The "kernels" were easy for him to chew off and he actually ended up eating some. I'll just say there were some yellow spots in his poop.

This toy is amazing. It has held up to two pit bull dogs, one is a big boy with strong jaws and teeth. It is constructed out of a tough rubber, but it is pliable enough to fulfil their chewing needs. It has a squeaker inside which is difficult to make a sound and when it does squeak the dogs are surprised by it, which is funny to watch. Both dogs have had many hours chewing and fighting over it.

My dog has a habit of tearing up toys in just a few minutes, so far, this toy has lasted a few days, the rope is already showing signs of wear. I wish there was a way to attach a new rope when this one goes... She is a mid-sized dog with a LOT of energy, and she's very destructive, digging, chewing on things she's not supposed to, etc. This helps with that, she can play with it for a long time, we don't have to always 'check' to see if she is tearing something up. She loves grabbing it by the rope and swinging it around the sides of her head, it doesn't hurt her, and she LOVES this toy. Out of ALL of the toys that we have bought her, and that she loved, THIS ONE has been top dog to her. We love watching her play with it, it also wears her out and she'll then take a nap, which is always good. Oh yeah, the size if PERFECT for a mid-sized to a large dog, I'm not sure about any smaller dogs. She can squeak the squeaker on it fine too, but not at first, she had to 'find out' how to do it on her own. As far as chewing it into little pieces like one person has said, I can't attest to that, and I hope that is not the case. I will return if she does end up chewing it into pieces, because she in known far and wide for that! :)
