Perfect for my dog. She is very aggressive so she is hard to shop for. I don't know how much money I have payed out on her for toys and they end up trash in minutes. She still has this one months later and it's in as new shape as day one. She loves it and no one takes her donut. LOL

This is a nice size, and tough. Would work for a med or med-large dog. It smells VERY VERY VERY strange - coming from a trainer who has hundreds, maybe thousands, of dog toys. Possibly it's on purpose(?) as the smell is pleasant enough - I wonder if I missed something in the description that it is meant to smell sweet like a donut?? I washed it with soap multiple times.... but the dogs don't seem to mind the smell so... Otherwise, the toy itself is durable, a good design for retrieving and chasing. Holding up to a moderate chewer (but I'm a bit careful). Would be a 5 star if the smell didn't weird me out. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We have struggled finding the proper toys for our 80 lb one year old baby. He destroys everything! This is the toughest little donut that brings him so much joy. He can't kill it no matter how hard he tries. This is the type of dog that drags logs around in our backyard and chews them to bits. He enjoys dragging bricks and big rocks around as well. We have bought him those really tough rubber/silicone rings, and while they did last a little while, he managed to chew them in half due to how thin they were. This donut is the perfect size. It fits in his mouth but he can't really gnaw through it because it's too big for that. He has chewed up my coffee table, as you may notice in my video, but this donut has provided the perfect distraction from that. No weird smell or anything when we opened the package. My boy is obsessed and very persistent about playing with this toy. We've started calling him the Donut Peddler lol. ... show more

Ruined in minutes. This toy is not for aggressive chewers. I would say it is more suitable for light to moderate chewers. If your dog likes to shred things, it will have pieces off in minutes to seconds.

Got this for my sister's chocolate lab based on all the reviews I read saying that this toy was the one that lasted. Well the dog loves it and so far(a week later) it has not been chewed to pieces! And it is so cute and just the right size for him.
