The memory foam was just what she needed. The car seat is well made and if you use the seat belt straps, the seat is safe. I put the car seat in the center of the backseat and used my car's seat belts on both sides of the dog's car seat to keep it securely in place. Literally the best dog seat I’ve ever bought. You’re going to think you’ve royally screwed up when it arrives because it’s vacuum sealed and TINY. Just take it out of the packaging and let it sit overnight and all will be fine. My 10-year-old Shih-Tzu loves cuddling up in it when we get in the car. It’s big enough for her, her blanket and a couple of stuffed animals. It sits up high too, so this is perfect if you have a dog that gets car sick if they can’t see out of the windows/need air blowing directly on them. BUY THIS!!! I cannot say enough great things about this!! For starters, it’s very well made and I absolutely LOVE that you’re able to remove the cover and wash it. It also comes with 2 leashes to attach to your dogs collar. In my opinion you could definitely fit 2 small dogs in here. It’s much bigger than I expected which is nice. Before purchasing my puppy would run all over the car and it was so stressful to take him places. Now, I feel so much better about brining him along knowing he’s not only safe and secured, but that I can bring him places easily. 10/10 recommend, it is a bit pricey but soooooo worth it. ... show more

We love this safety sofa for Scout. She is comfortable and I know she is safe! She is up high like she likes it. Scout is 11 lb. miniature dachshund. She is used to standing on my lap to see everything outside so this was the perfect choice! Her sister joined the family a few months ago and both fit comfortably. However, sadly Maple gets car sick we found out so she has her seat down low not. But we did have to was this seat 🫠. It was soo easy to remove and run through the washer (didn’t shrink in dryer) and easy to put back on! The over the headrest belt is very secure and easy to use, especially when your changing out vehicles. Well worth the price, she loves it. If you are struggling to find the perfect one this is it!
