For the price I'm happy, but I noticed light rust spots showing up before it's a year old. If my vines die off in the winter I may just do a touch up paint to fix it. But for the price I kind of expected it.

Easy to assemble, connections too loose, falls into pieces while trying to put in garden and legs keep falling off. Had to tie each section together to hold together until in position , then removed ties when finished. VERY FRUSTRATING!!

While the arch was little tricky to assemble by myself, I managed to set it up in my front garden and it looks lovely. The difficulty in setting it up, comes from the fact that as you secure it into the ground, it begins to come apart at the higher levels. To counter this, I simply checked and secured the upper connections after every few blows with the rubber mallet at the bottom rung. I would also suggest measuring the distance at the bottom to make sure it is the distance stated as the dimensions. I had mine a little too far apart to start and noticed it after I had it in a the ground a good distance, but I was able to pull one side out and measure and adjust so it all went in properly. And it does look very nice in my front garden and I am glad I purchased it. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived, and I opened the package. It is heavier than I thought it would be. The only reason I dropped a star, is that it was a two person operation to put it together. I tried by myself, and it just didn't work. It is very tippy, until you get the stakes in the ground a couple inches. I have it outside, and I think it will last several years. I don't know that it would hold up under heavier vine plants, like a trumpet vine, but I think it will do fine with moonflowers and the like. It also arrived faster than stated. It went together easily enough and my clematis sure looked awesome climbing up and over the arch. However, sturdy? No. Any windy day and the arch threatened to blow over due to the weight of the vines. It finally did blow over in late October. I had to cut all the vines out of it back to the ground and then cut them apart in sections just to get the thing untangled and taken apart. Most clematis (at least the ones I have) grow on old wood. Therefore, with cutting it back, I've lost a year's worth of growth. In addition, if the arch can't support the weight, what's the point. The sections where they join are not long enough so that it always looked like it was going to bow and buckle. I really didn't expect much more from something priced so cheaply. It really was a disappointment since it looked so nice initially. ... show more

I bought 2 arches and need them right away or otherwise I'd return them. They both arrived with rust (pictures) and the fittings were loose so they are wobbly. Hopefully the wobble won't be bad once they are in the ground. Either way, I'm not returning them because they are for my parents' garden and I am leaving town soon. Trying to be a good daughter and fix their jungle mess of tomatoes and beans so I need these trellises now. Highly annoyed to pay over $120 for outdoor items that came with rust spots. ... show more
