This is worse piece of crap, I’ve ever bought, I have been building engines for about 30 years, decided to go with this, because of the price, new everything, put in the truck, oil pressure kept dropping, engine chattering, checked oil, it’s metal flakes, took it apart cam bearings destroyed, needless to say, had to do everything again, dealer cam and lifter, engine runs great, please don’t buy this crap, Amazon should be sued for selling this. ... show more

Great way to get rid of those dod lifters and make it run right again. Kit contained everything in it to do the job even the gaskets. Once the vehicle was reprogrammed it ran good as new!

    • Avoid at all cost.
If I could give this 0 stars I would. The camshaft bearing journals are 20-25 thousandths out of spec(too small) I couldn't imagine actually running this in my engine unless I wanted to destroy it. Being this much too small, it would cause the oil pressure to be very very low. If I didn't use the gaskets, I would send it back. Save yourself some headache and spend a little more money to get a quality camshaft. The lifters seemed ok. It's hard to mess up a hydraulic roller lifter. The gaskets and head bolts were good. The head bolts actually came with thread protectors installed for shipping which was nice. But with the biggest part in the kit (camshaft) being junk I would consider the whole kit to be junk ... show more

Good kit but was missing 1 of the orange gaskets for block of plate can't finish engine build untill I can find o specific o ring or install freeze plugs
