Jesus jumped up Christ -> I've tried everything else: Phenelethylamine + Hordenine, l-Phenylalanine, l-DOPA + a decarboxylase inhibitor, fish oil, caffeine, energy drinks, and probably two dozen other amino acids, etc. This stuff? I gotta say -> besides dextroamphetamine, this may well be the only thing that manages to maintain my focus [that isn't a stimulant]. And it doesn't give you a "high" like Dexedrine. As a long time believer in amino acid therapy, I was really excited to learn more about this one in Julia Ross’s The Craving Cure. I have only been taking this for a few days so I may be more excited than usual, but I did notice immediate (within 2 hours) effects on my chronic neck and jaw pain caused by stress and tension. For the first time in a long time, my body feels physically comfortable. I have a hard time sitting in most positions because of my arthritis and although the effects are mild, they are incredibly noticeable. I don’t like to take prescription medications because I am highly reactive and everything makes me drowsy but these seem to make me feel functional and that’s saying a lot. Product also shipped quickly and was well packaged. No complaints.

This is one of the amino acids I take regularly. Anyone interested in amino acids, what they are, what they do, should read THE MOOD CURE or THE DIET CURE by Julia Ross. The D version of Phenylalanine (as opposed to the L which helps more for alertness) does really help with pain. Add it to your larder or take the D-L version which does a little of both. Amino acids work directly in the brain on your neuro-transmitters to help with pain, alertness, stress, depression and addictions to name but a few.

My husband uses this DPA to manage chronic pain from a double lumbar fusion and depression. We started to see results in about 48 hours with tremendous improvement at the two 1/2 - three week mark. It is helpful on low barometric pressure days which are very difficult for a person dealing with chronic pain and hardware in their back. He has had a 75% improvement which is huge given where he was . We use 1 -500 mg tab 4 times a day and increase it to 2 on low pressure days. We have tried everything even a high quality CBD. So far this has been the best solution.

I took 1500mg DL-Phenylananine to help with pain killer withdrawal and Lexapro withdrawal, but even after the withdrawals subsided, my heart rate was insane and I was having heart palpitations. My HR usually 60-65 resting and with the DLPA it was 95+ for two weeks straight. As soon as I replaced the 1500mg DLPA with 1000mg DPA, my palpitations stopped and my heart rate went back down to 68 resting. Highly recommend this for somebody trying to come off of subs, kratom, or pain killers who also have anxiety. It's amazing and I will be buying again.

This stuff is amazing! I find that my overall mood is greatly improved when I take it regularly. I stopped taking it for a week and definitely felt great improvement when I started up again. I'd like to see more research done on its impact on depression and anxiety because I think it's a powerful tool and much safer than many prescriptions. I've been taking Doctor's Best Best D-phenylalanine in conjunction with LDN and, for me, they are a powerful combination!

I read reviews on all my supplements that I buy and I see more and more people calling for the government to regulate the supplement industry – These are obvious trolls which is a sign that the government is beginning to ‘prep’ the public for this inevitability. The government involved in any way is never a good thing - it will become a ‘racket’ and either prices will go up on everything and/or companies that make supplements will start to go out of business – regulation will also be used to minimize all competition against pharmaceutical companies. I personally rely on supplementing to keep off of all pharmaceuticals and over the counter medication and I absolutely do not want the government involved in regulating supplements – it won’t be regulating to get the bad supplements out to protect the public - it will be a way for the government to make a ton of money, they are the mob and they want their dues. So fight back against it for as long as you can.

Good vitamin. I was hesitant at first because Im very senstive to herbal supplements. I have had crash or no mood swings. 500 mg was not too strong. I was perscribedstimulants in the past (20mg immediate release adderall 3x a day ) in the past and now I take non stimulants 450mg wellbutrin as well as 100 mg zoloft and 2x 500 mg D-Phenylalanine capsules. Im trying to take the less stimulant- non addictive way now. Honestly, It took me a while to see any results because my brain was used to the stimulant, immediate- release effect.. my body did not feel anything right away but I did notice a change in my test scores and motivation after a month and half. Dont forget that eating a healthy diet and exercise also helps ADD/ADHD people! Eveyone's brain works different and this has worked for me, some people may work faster and others may take more time. However, my psychiatrist said this is a safe supplement to take. Also, fish oil, B12, and folic acid is a helathy alternative to stimulate brain health. I love how this is Vegan Friendly and Non-GMO too!! I would order this again.
