Great fence for someone who wants an easily assembled project. Quality control could’ve been better as the caps to the posts were not included and a couple boards had oozed sap and made discolored areas on a couple of boards. I tried contacting the company but had no luck.

Then this item is for you!!! AC units, trash bins, or even your compost piles are no match for this small privacy fence. It hides the crap you don't want your "judgey" neighbors to see, like your AC unit, your trash bins, or even a compost pile. This was a beautiful addition to my yard. I highly recommend.

The overall quality of the components is okay. Before you even try to assemble it, read my experience. First, the hardware is useless, the instructions aren't great but it's sort of easy to figure out how it goes together. Go to the hardware store and get yourself 1.5" long stainless bolts, washers and nuts- 4 sets for the mounting legs and 8 sets for the rest. I used 10/32 for the mounting legs and 1/4-20 for the rest. Hand tighten the mounting legs on and assemble the bottom half of the fence. Tighten up the 6 nuts and bolts just past snug, but don't over tighten. Get the fence set in position and use a rubber mallet to drive the metal mounting legs/frame into the ground. Level it up. Then assemble the top half. Tighten it all up, check for level and install the top caps.

This may look good on Amazon, but in reality, it is a piece of garbage. The metal rails are frail. The wood is thin and when you pound it into the ground, it breaks and falls apart. It is literally one step sturdier than Balsawood. I honestly don’t know how they can keep selling this crap, I realized once assembling it it was merely decorative, but it is so fragile, and so cheaply made it cannot even stand on its own. Don’t waste your time, your energy, your money, you will be extremely frustrated and will be returning this piece of inferior garbage!!!

SO happy with this item! Huge upgrade from the eyesore our A/C unit has been on our side yard for years. Easy to install and adjust to the correct height. Quick tip - I removed the panel from the bottom steaks as I found them easier to drive deep into the ground with my mallet when they were shorter. Then I slide the top panel back on top. Color of the wood seems slightly orange, but I know it will fade soon in the sun so I don't mind. Great value for the price and quality/sturdiness are great so far! Just installed it so will update as the years go by.
