I originally bought one pair of these shorts to try, and I liked them so much that I ended up purchasing five pairs. I’ve worn them throughout the Florida summer, and they’ve become my new favorite shorts for everyday wear. I own an on-site computer repair business in Florida, so I need something comfortable enough to wear all day but still presentable when I’m making service calls. These look really nice with a tucked-in shirt and work perfectly for a casual-business look without being too dressy. The material feels durable, and the fit is excellent. There’s no sagging in the crotch, which is something I really appreciate. The front pockets are nice and deep, so I don’t have to worry about my phone, keys, or other items falling out when I’m sitting down, getting in and out of the vehicle, or working on a computer. For a change, the rear pockets are also deep enough that my billfold actually fits without half of it sticking out. I’ve always been a fan of Dockers dress pants, but living and working in the Florida heat, these shorts are much more practical for everyday wear. They’re comfortable, durable, look good, and have held up very well throughout the summer. Obviously, if I were going to a business meeting or something more formal, I’d wear dress pants. But for everyday wear and casual-business service calls, these have become my go-to shorts. I am 6’1”, weigh 170 and my waist is size 33. These shorts fit perfectly and drop to the top of the knee. Additionally, the shorts look great and are very comfortable. I will buy another pair.

Great shorts, but be aware that the waist runs tight. I wear 36 waist in every other brand of shorts and pants, and usually it feels loose. With these, the 36 was WAY too tight. I went up to a 38, and it's wearable but still a bit snug even. Besides the strange sizing, though, they're good quality.

It's very stylish and has a good quality. The point is that you might better buy a size larger. At first, I bought 36 size but it was small for him. So I returned it and brought a size larger and then it fits very well.

First Dockers are a classic! However, can be hard to tell from pictures if shorts will be the right fit, especially the length. I bought these for my 6' tall boyfriend. The shorts hit him slightly above the knee, just where he likes. They have the right amount of stretch to be comfortable all day. They are well made with plenty of pockets and sturdy zipper. Right out of the package, they’re sharp—clean, classic fit, nice fabric, and they definitely pass the “can I wear these to a BBQ and pretend I have my life together?” test. Dockers did their thing here—these are basically the prom king of khaki shorts. BUT… apparently the sizing was designed by someone who thinks humans skip leg day and meals. I ordered my usual size and when I tried them on, I felt like I was auditioning for a role as “overstuffed burrito.” Button closed, sure—but at what cost? Sitting down became a high-risk activity. Bending? Absolutely not. These shorts said, “We’re a classic fit… but only if you’re built like a coat hanger.” To be fair, once you size up, they probably fit great—but I wasn’t emotionally prepared to negotiate with my shorts like that.
