These shorts are made of a nice sturdy material with a decent amount of give to them. The length hits right at the knee which was perfect for my needs. Unfortunately these run small and I had to return them. I recommend sizing up when purchasing to ensure a good fit.

Dockers had a winner with these but now seems to want to chase a different market. These are not for fat boys or folks that like to wear trouser halfway down their ass. Cell phone pocket is in the right place and generous enough for a phone not a tablet. I like the 8 inch inseam but the 9 inch is still comfortable. We were replacing some shorts for my husband that got grease on them. I didn’t realize these are 8” and the original pair was longer. My husband is used to the cargo style shorts so by comparison these are much shorter. We will be ordering the longer version. The quality is very good.
