This ships flat - you will need to lift 125 lbs (57kg) to move it. You will need basic tools to assemble. An electric screwdriver or drill is helpful. The box arrived in tact and EVERY little piece was laid in Styrofoam and wrapped to prevent damage. NOT a scratch or nick. EVERY part was numbered correctly, and EVERY single hole lined up and was pre-drilled as needed. Assembly is time consuming - you are building every drawer and cabinet, but if you follow the directions, it goes together beautifully. Pay close attention to little details in the directions and you should have no trouble. It looks gorgeous assembled and offers PLENTY of space for all my teenagers hygiene necessities. The doors line up perfectly flush, the lights look beautiful in the glass cabinets and the mirror lights offer great exposure for makeup/skincare routines. A small sturdy stool fits best. Purchased this for my teen daughter and she absolutely loves it. I'll start off by saying that the materials are just crap. But let's be honest, if you're not already expecting that with this price point, then you should just move on right now and go to Pottery Barn. That being said, I'm very impressed with this vanity and would highly recommend it. Love that it has several drawers for storage and the glass doors are a nice touch. There are lights inside the glass doors which I didn't know until I put it together and it looks so nice. We didn't like the gold tone of the hardware, so we switched it out with something we bought separately. My main reason for writing this review is to say that the assembly instructions are excellent. There are a LOT of pieces and it took a couple of hours to put it together, but the instructions are clear and thorough, with great pictures. I had no trouble assembling this myself (help of a second person is handy when putting the hutch on top of the desk). I did have a problem with two things: one of the drawers had a minor broken spot, and one of the hardware pieces wouldn't attach properly. I sent in a request for replacements thru amazon, and the company shipped me exactly what I needed. This took a few weeks but it wasn't an emergency so it was fine. I put this together on my own in about four hours. The directions were pretty clear but I have put together my fair share of furniture so if you haven’t ever assembled furniture this would probably be challenging. It’s very cute, and though it’s small it is bigger than I expected. The storage is great, lights work, and it’s moderately sturdy considering the materials - it’s like an IKEA piece of furniture: not super high quality but it gets the job done. ... show more

So I just finished assembling this vanity. I loved having very clear instructions and well marked parts. I was very impressed that everything was very precisely cut and drilled. Everything aligned perfectly. It took me 5 evenings to assemble this thing and obviously it wouldn't have taken this long if all I did was follow the instructions, however to make the structure stronger I added wood glue to all screws and dowels. After all this is particle board. I had to go to the store and get proper 1/4" dowels as the ones that came with the set were just slightly narrower and didn't provide proper connection. But in the end I have a very well made sturdy vanity and it looks and works very well. Once again, I want to commend the manufacturer for very precise cuts and drill holes. Everything aligns perfectly. One thing I would like to comment on is the lights in the cabinets. Using the switch I turned the dome lights off, however they don't stay off, they flash intermittently, not sure why. I ended up disconnecting the dome lights because this is set up in a bedroom and having the lights flash during the night is not a pleasant experience. Mirror lights work well and don't appear to have any issues. You can disconnect the dome lights and have the mirror connected separately. Overall I'm very pleased with the final result. My girlfriend loves it. It's a very functional vanity which has space to hide everything and if you have kids this one is easy to childproof. ... show more

The item wasn’t all bad but I would never buy any from Amazon that is not Prime. The good: When I ordered the vanity it said that it wouldn’t arrived for about 2 weeks but it arrived in about a week. While putting it together I felt that the quality was on par with the price. And even though there were a lot of pieces it was going together pretty well. The design is great and having the lights and the outlets installed was nice. The bad: I had it about 70% put together when I noticed that there was a lot of damage to the table top. I had this happen before and the manufacturer was always able to provide a replacement part. However there is no contact info for the manufacturer. I had to contact Amazon so they could send a message to the manufacturer. They contacted me back through the app and everything happened through text. There is no way to talk to a person on the phone. They did offer a replacement part but it would take 15 to 25 days to receive it. The ugly: I opted to return the vanity instead of waiting. I started the return process through Amazon. But unlike prime items I did not have the option to return it locally. I have ship the item back to the company and pay for shipping at a cost of $150. ... show more

Dont search anymore this one is it. This is so cute and my daughter loves it! It is well made and the instructions are super simple to follow. Came well packaged and everything was there. Not a thing wrong with it. I put this together by myself in about 3 hours with little brakes. I did go a little slower so I would not strip the screws. But the mirror is amazing and the lights in the cabinets are super cool. So much storage for everything. Plus a plug for you curling iron and blow dryer. Not to mention you can change your phone and air pods at the same time. Now my other daughter wants one. ... show more
