Description

Aluminum racing radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to prevent premature engine failure. Its light-weight, and high-heat transferring aluminum features a tube and fin design that, dramatically increases surface area that enables the heat to dissipate more efficiently. This racing radiator is at least 40% more efficient than stock ones.     • Great Fit, however a year later!!!!!!
This product was a great fit I was excited to get it and it looked great. However less than a year later I find it is completley junk. It is leaking all over seems to be a bunch of weld issues. Extremley disapointed and now need to replace again. The money I've lost in antifreeze is ubsurd

I can't speak for durability yet because I just installed it yesterday. What I can say it fits my '05 Jeep TJ unlimited perfectly; all bolt holes match up and your original bolts can be reused mounting it. No plastic, all aluminum, good looking welds, cheaper than the OEM with its plastic tanks (mine had cracked on top). My engine is running cooler. I'm satisfied and so far happy to pass on the positive review. ... show more

FIts perfectly....keeps it much cooler and with my FlowKooler Waterpump this thing stays supercool....it also looks great. I thought I would be sending it back when It was delivered. The box was mostly destroyed.....thanks UPS....but.....there was no damage to the radiator thanks to great packaging......... i also liked that it came with a great GOLD colored radiator cap...which looked awesome with that polished aluminum....... THanks GUys....... I have another jeep,,,,I will be buying another one for that jeep as well.... ... show more

    • Leaking
Seemed like a good product, looked nice. Guess I should have took the first clue when they didn't send any fittings for the transmission lines. But now a year and 3 months later its leaking. Apears to be at a weld. And if you've ever changed one out on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler you know it's a pain.

    • Good radiator
I needed a new 3 core radiator, as my previous aftermarket radiator started weeping shortly before I was going to take my jeep on vacation. The new radiator arrived in short order, and was an easy replacement. The new radiator is a little larger in volume, about 1/2 gallon more coolant, which is also a plus. I need a 3 core in my Jeep because of the large winch on the front that partially blocks the radiator, and the stock radiator wasn't up to the task of cooling the Jeep in this condition.     • Install was very good except for a few minor things
This was installed in 2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 L.Install was very good except for a few minor things.You have to make the 4 (or at least 2 of them) holes on your shroud a tad bigger with a Dremel or the like or the holes on the rad (where there are nutserts) are a tight fit.You need more wiggle room.The nutserts on the rad for shroud to bolt onto need 4 fine thread metric bolts.I also switched out the plastic petcock drain for a brass one.No big deal but I had a couple kicking around anyway so switched it.Other than these things it went in great,temperature stays OEM, and there are no leaks thus far.Went thru 2 Specter rads in four years and had enough.Hope it lasts and if anything changes will update.UPDATE:Lasted a week and a leak developed at the same place the other rads failed.It develops a leak where the upper hose flows into the rad.Mind you it's been really cold around here and it only sprays coolant when it's really cold.I can see a build-up of orange crust where the leak is. Too late to return it so will probably have to gt it repaired at a local rad shop.Oh well get what you pay for! ... show more
