These look fantastic. Easy to install. Fit perfectly, didn't have to make any modifications. Love the black. Purchased LED low beams. From the factory the low beams were pointed straight down. Disregard the other reviews that say you can't get the low beams adjusted enough. I ended up having to turn the adjustment screw so much that I ended up using a long phillips attached to my drill - not a bad thing just needs more than a few turns. I waited until it was dark, parked the car so the headlights were pointed at my closed garage door, made adjustments, took test drives, and found the perfect height. You have to remove the bumper cover to get these suckers in, but that's on Subaru. I took advantage and replaced the bumper cover while I had it off. Purchased a painted one from a site that sells painted autobody parts. 12 year old car with 140k miles now looks brand new. ... show more

These do the job great, just ensure full lockdown of bolts when installing. I have a 2012 Outback and they fit as intended. Adjustment of bulbs following installation is simple with a Phillips screwdriver to get height correct of where your lights are pointing. Looks great, bulbs are bright when adjusted correct & DEFINITELY worth the money to change from the awful chrome look of OEM housings. ... show more

I purchased these hoping they would be a good replacement. They do look nice, but the light, or lack there of, is horrendous. I have been adjusting these every way possible, and even tried several different light bulbs, LED to Halogen. I have a open area right down the middle of the road where no light hits. For some reason they keep shining off to the sides. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get them to shine straight ahead. Not sure if I ended up with a defective set or if that is how they are made. My car is dark gray so these lights don't look the best on my particular car. But, they fit quite well and appear to have a better light pattern than the OEM headlamps. I will revisit this review after a few months.

I really like the dark look on my 2014 cobalt blue Outback. Everything fit in just right. I was surprised to find a built-in side marker LED (no replaceable bulb). Two assembly problems however. The retaining spring clip on one was assembled such that it was behind the rear frame and couldn’t rotate into position. Removing the screw allowed me to reseat it properly. Second, while there are internal side marker LEDs in these units, on both of mine, the pins on the internal harness were switched. Fortunately there is enough room to access the connectors, push out the pins and switch them. Afterward the lights worked fine. ... show more
