Work great, identical appearance of VW original part (VW $348 each). Install high and low beam H7 lamp before installing headlight assemblies to save your tongue and lip biting lol - I absolutely hate replacing lamps on these cheesy lamp locks and since you are having it out, put them already in. would be great if a third party could design a push in version instead of this handicapped version of twist-on-BS. Plenty of suitable videos to install headlights. Hint: you need to uninstall under bottom panel, the front spoiler and grill to get to the mounting bolts of the headlight assemblies. Blinker lamps, daylight lamps, and position lights are pre-installed. You will need four (2 each) H7 lamps. It took a few days before the warning lamp on dash extinguished until the circuit was happy (another annoying VW feature that's fine when it works, but is sensitive to the type of lamps used; these come from China. Maybe they draw too little current or too much but after a few days the warning lamp on dash finally extinguished (or did it burn out lol...i am ok with it, it's too unreliable and touchy) Anyhow, I had to reattach one of the headlight chamber vent tubes when the headlight arrived....it was in the box (they prevent fogging of internal housing and allows the lamp housing to dry out so you don't end up with a fish bowl like with some GMs).     • You get what you pay for.
On arrival, everything looked okay in the first 10 seconds of the headlights being out of the box. Then I saw the fingerprints on the reflector bowls. And the trim piece that had popped out of place. And all the bits of plastic shavings. Whatever, little defects I can live with, they're cheap. Install the headlights, the driver's side high beam is pointed at the ground, the passenger side high beam is 35 feet in the trees. Literally zero usable light from the high beams, it was actually a little funny how far out of alignment they were. Got the driver's side adjusted to usable, but still way off from where it needs to be, I'm kind of afraid to push it any more. Went to adjust the passenger side, the vertical adjustment knob does absolutely nothing. Pulled the headlight to inspect, and I'm assuming the fingerprints were from someone trying to pop the reflector bowls back onto the adjustment rod. Luckily, they did snap back together on the low beam, now the high beam is pointed at the pavement on the passenger side, so no actual damage....I guess tomorrow makes day 3 of trying to get these headlights into the condition they should've arrived in. But they were cheap, they still look good, so if you're okay with some small repairs on arrival, they're still worth the money. ... show more

I love my new headlights so very much; makes my car look like a model that wasn't even released yet. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the driver side headlight came in defective. The turning signal was not working. I have spoken with the support team and they have authorized me a partial refund for the issue. I hate that I will have 1 bulb not working. But I will more than likely fix that myself in order for it to work again. Support was fairly quick. When I go for a photo shoot I will try to add the images here. The reflection on the lights works perfectly! I love how far they go considering they are only bulbs. I will end up switching them to white LED's soon. ... show more

    • Driver side blinker light does not work.
I waited a while to install the lights. I found out the driver side biller light does not work. I’m outside the return date, but I’d like to know if there is some kinds of product warranty. No reply yet.

Because TBE front bumper and grill have to be removed to install, I brought these to my mechanic. Dealer lights were over 300 each. These make my car look new and work maybe even a little better than the original

    • Quality Issues
Overall seemed to be decent quality until I put them into the car, and then found out that the passanger side ones adjuster was broken and the bulb cannot be adjusted much. When it is adjusted the small amount that it would allow you to adjust it, it would let go and go back to pointing straight down at the ground after 1 drive. With these you get what you pay for they are cheap junk. ... show more
