This is a great thread, it performs just like any thread for sewing by hand, it doesn't break or tangle at all. I expected snags since it is metallic, but it sewed perfectly to attach appliques to knit fabric, even tulle.

I used this thread for hand embroidering. Usually metallic accent thread will rip or curl or fray very quickly but not this stuff. In feel, it was like working with regular non metallic thread. I loved how easy it was to use, no fussing. Will end up buying other colors as well, it was so wonderful to work with. It is slightly thicker than any other metallic thread I've used but I think that helped with sturdiness and it made it show up in my work with less effort. I didn’t have problems with breakage. All metallic threads are harder to deal with than non metallic but I found this easy to get used to and a great way to add a bit of shine to a project. Already ordered more silver thread!
