Once the unit is turned on, there is a flashing light that is very distracting but the instructions do not explain how to correct this. But what was more frustrating was a color cycling and it's seemed that display was 3D (yay!) but it was part of the chromatic cycling effect. I really wanted to love them. --‐------UPDATE 12/17‐--‐------ I changed several components, HDMI cable, etc.and I was able to get the desire 3D effect. They worked perfectly.

I could never get these glasses to work quite right. I have a BenQ TK7000 projector. The glasses sort of work, but constantly invert the 3D image, where the dimensions are reversed. You have to click the power button to get it to re-sync and correct the issue, but nevertheless, it will happen again, especially during scenes with lots of action. Not sure why that matters. I bought the benQ manufactured glasses and the issue does not exist and the picture quality is better.

I had just written a so-so review of these glasses after working with them for several nights for about 3 weeks with not-so-great results. The equipment I am using is all 3D capable and the projector is LDP-link rated. I could get the 3D effect once in a while (briefly) and got better results if I lowered the projector intensity. Playing around (AGAIN!) with the 3D menu items on the projector I stumbled across a sub menu – actually, a menu, within a menu, within a menu, within a menu that listed “DLP link”. The DLP link was not turned on. Duh! I thought I had been through ALL the 3D menu related items but obviously missed the link to this lower menu. So, if you are having issues don’t blame the glasses until you actually find the menu item that says DLP link on your projector and VERIFY that DLP link is ON. They work great now.
