DJI has always been a name synonymous with quality. This power unit certainly looks great. I use it as a UPS for several devices as power can be sketchy in our area during winter storms. So far it has been great at keeping things running. The battery life is fantastic for this form factor. It charges very quickly from AC power. The DJI home app is great as well. It allows you to monitor operation remotely and change settings on the fly. The price is what captured my attention. It was a great deal at the time. Now for the bad news. This unit is gray market from Hong Kong. My unit arrived set for 50hz power out of the box. It has an issue during the charging cycle where it trips an error code every minute or so and stops charging while displaying "err 43". I have been in contact with DJI support. They identified the unit as being a domestic model for Hong Kong markets. I initiated a support request the day I plugged this in and noted it faulting. DJI has been willing to examine it but whether or not they will warranty replace it with a new one is still up in the air. Check the vendor selling these units before you purchase. Otherwise you can end up in warranty limbo like me. I'll update my ratings based on the outcome of my unit replacement/repairs. **** Update 2/4/2026**** Unit was returned to DJI for examination. They have determined there is an issue and will repair or replace it with a new one. The communication from DJI has been excellent so far. This should be resolved in a couple weeks. We'll see what they decide... ***Update 2/8/2026*** Received unit back from DJI. It appears to be brand new. Did a quick firmware update and charged battery. It was able to charge at high speed to 100% with no errors. Excellent service and communication from a company you can trust. Upgrading review to 5 stars.

Edit: July 31st, 2026 - Received back from DJI today. The "repair" was to do nothing other than slap a sticker on the power station and ship it back to me. It is the exact same as when I sent it to them 2 MONTHS AGO; Won't charge the battery, has an error saying the mainboard cannot communicate with the battery. Edit: July 21, 2026 - I ordered this April 14th. It died May 20th, after less than 3 weeks of usage. I finally got a hold of DJI on June 1st and shipped it to their repair center. July 7th they acknowledged receipt (Tracking shows it delivered June 5th). TODAY, July 21, they completed repair and "will be shipping it soon." My DJI Power 1000 V2 died within 30 days. It was kept out of the weather and sun and charged via solar panels. It was primarily used to power clippers to shear 1 whole Shetland sheep and to power a fan that cooled both the sheep and itself. One afternoon I noticed the fan was not on, despite having full sun on the panels. I checked the DJI and lo and behold, there was no power. No readout. The solar adapter had a green light, so it was getting power, but the actual power station had nothing. I detached it and brought it to the house. The only thing I could do to get it to turn on was plug it in to an outlet. It turned on and looked like it was charging, but then the Bluetooth connection to my phone alerted me that there was an error; The board and the battery could not communicate. After an hour of online troubleshooting, I realized I needed to contact DJI as the problem would need a warranty repair. DJI makes this as hard as possible. The actual chat for the DJI Power will tell you nobody is available, ever. The phone number for the DJI power support will ALWAYS tell you that they are closed and you need to call back during business hours, even when you are calling during business hours. I had to use a different option to get someone on chat just to talk to somebody. After 2 hours of back and forth, DJI support sent me a label to send the DJI Power back for "evaluation." And that was a month ago. I've heard nothing since. Almost $500 is just gone. FYI, if you are thinking of buying one of these, they can't EVER be returned because it is a battery. If it breaks and DJI decides not to repair it, that's it. You're out the money and tough luck, Charlie.

I have really old breakers in my apartment, so this has been a huge help for running my portable AC, laundry (120v) and kitchen appliances as a buffer or during outages. The Power 2000 easily handles my AC and laundry simultaneously! The on-peak/off-peak scheduler in the DJI app is great for my needs too! You can limit the grid recharge input down to 600w, and schedule it to not charge during peak hours.

Let me start by saying the product is very good. I set it up in my work vehicle with the DJI 1KW express car charger so it is charging when the engine is running and it charges the vehicle battery when the engine is off and the vehicle battery falls under V12.8. Works like a charm. Apparently, something was wrong with the settings on the app (should have cut any load when capacity reaches 15% but it didn’t) which allowed the DJI battery to fully deplete, after which it would not charge again, regardless of all remediation actions recommended on the support website and in the forums. Reaching out to DJI I learned they will NOT service this specific product because according to them it has not been officially launched in the US … Amazon referred me to the vendor. Usually, that’s when things would seriously get off the rails, BUT… I have to say that the vendor did a great job on the support side. Communication was excellent throughout (usually responded within 12-24 hours, all communications done through Amazon), and after a quick troubleshooting session it assured me they will stand behind the product they sell. They sent me a shipping label to ship the defective product back and after inspection sent me a brand new product, which I just finished installing in my vehicle. Kudos to the seller. I recommend the product and setup for any vehicle (especially work and off road) but pay attention to capacity so it doesn’t go below 10-15%, as this will damage the product. I hope DJI fixes the glitch on the app in their next release.

The DJI Power 1000 V2 has exceeded my expectations. The 1024Wh LFP battery provides plenty of power for both home backup and outdoor use, and the build quality is outstanding—solid, premium, and clearly designed to last. It runs very quietly, which is a huge plus compared to other power stations I’ve used. Charging is fast and efficient, and I really appreciate the clean, well-organized ports that make it easy to power multiple devices at the same time. It handled everything from laptops and cameras to small appliances without any issues. The display is clear and informative, making it easy to monitor usage and remaining battery life. Overall, this is a dependable, high-quality portable power station from a brand I trust. Superfast charging via plug so if your car camping like me, an outlet at a park pavilion will charge you from 80% to 100 in 15-20mn! Works great w solar. Charges drone batteries so quickly, I don't need to buy more batteries. Whisper quiet. I keep it next to me in the back of my suv. I've got kayak straps on it so it won't accidently fall out if I open that car door. Not so good w space heaters. Get an Ignik sleeping pad instead.

This battery has been amazing for my business. I have purchased several and they have been performing phenomenally. I have replaced our Honda EU 3000 gas generators with this battery for several reasons that have made my business run a lot smoother. We have used lots of our high power tools, and electric rope winches off of this with no issue The peak in-rush current goes up to 4500 W for most of our equipment which makes this one of the only batteries out there that can run our power equipment/tools but the 2048WH capacity has made it useful and actually doable for us to replace our gas generators We no longer have to worry about oil changes and fuel leaks while traveling with our generators to different job sites in the city and sometimes on remote mountain tops. We can be charging several things while driving as well, which we were not able to run our gas generator while traveling before The value is the biggest thing even when the battery is not on sale. It is still half the price of the gas generator that they are replacing. Currently during the sale there is an unbeatable value here where I can purchase three batteries for less than the price of the gas generator they were replacing I have used this for personal use as well and have ran a Starlink, a high-end mini LED 75 inch TV off of it, and my Traeger pellet grill off of it for multiple hours at the same time with no issue I would highly recommend this as the top battery option out there due to the high continuous power of 3000 W and peak in rush of at least 4500 W, and the 2048WH capacity make it the best option out there for the price, size and weight. I am still purchasing several more for my business as it has been proven on the job site many times already.
