Description

An uprated camera is equipped with a 1-inch Megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K/60Fps video and burst mode stills at 14 fps. The adoption of Titanium alloy and magnesium alloy construction increases the rigidity of the Airframe and reduces weight, making the Phantom 4 Pro similar in weight to the Phantom 4. The Flight Autonomy system adds dual rear vision sensors and infrared sensing systems for a total of five-directions of obstacle sensing and four-directions of obstacle avoidance. Operating Temperature Range 32 Degrees to 104 Degrees Fahrenheit (0 Degrees to 40Degrees Celsius).

This product is everything that I expected. I recommend it very highly. One thing is that the extended warranty offered by DJI has a time limit to purchase. If you wish you purchase it, you have a limited amount of time from product registration to add this coverage. This drone is my fifth drone and by far the best drone I've owned. The quality is very apparent as soon as you open it and fly it for the first time. This is not a beginner drone but is easy to operate. The price is very reasonable but like I said not a beginners drone. The Phantom 4 pro v2 is so fun to fly with the built in screen on the controller make set up quick and easy!!! The picture and filming capabilities are Outstanding!!! If buying a Phantom, do not waste dollars on the Basic, It is riddled with firmware issues, updates daily, and god-forbid if you miss an update or are out of range, it will say updated. This Pro and Pro+ version I have put 3+ miles on without incident. Refresh still recommended (the only warranty In recommend strongly) ... show more

This is a fantastic drone. By far the best drone that I've ever owned. Pros: Amazing image quality for stills and video. Great low light performance. Easy to operate and difficult to crash. Very steady hover. The collision avoidance sensors make flying in tight spaces much safer. Flight time has been close to the advertised 30 minutes. Cons: The downloadable maps are only for mainland China. Nothing for the USA or Europe. Some of the software has prompts in Chinese and could be more user friendly. The transmission system is not as robust as with the Mavic. Typically getting some signal drop out at 0.6 to 1 mile. ... show more

    • DJI Support is incompetent!!

I was excited to get the product and get it in the air. I followed the set up steps and much to my dismay the built in tablet on the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ just couldn't run their preinstalled DJI Go App. The app launched properly and connected to the drone but every time you pushed "Go Fly" a pop up opened that said "Unfortunately, DJI Go has stopped working" it would then close and relaunch. I tried rebooting 46 times, then contacted DJI Support. DJI Support was where this experience really went bad. He instructed to reinstall the controller firmware via loading it onto a micro sd card on my pc, and then put the micro sd into the controller and power it up and it will automatically update. It didn't, so he issued a return authorization and told me if everything went smooth my new replacement would arrive in 2 weeks(of course I bought this to do something now not a month from now.) if it was available. ARE YOU KIDDING? A REFURB? I then did my own research and found how I was supposed to reinstall the firmware via settings and selecting local update, these instructions were on the DJI website, the tech support guy had no clue how to do it. Unfortunately it still didn't work. I then took upon myself to do a full "back up & restore" via the settings in the built in Android tablet. NO LUCK. I then found a thread on DJI Forum that discussed the exact same issue, and a poster saying he did the same back up and restore I did with the drone connected via micro USB to the controller and after that his worked. I thought that makes no sense being that the app crashed even when the drone wasn't connected wirelessly or even powered on. But why not?? It actually worked though and I have now seemingly have a perfectly functioning drone, controller, and screen. I have now logged 5 whole minutes of flight time but I'm optimistic it will keep working. So the drone seems cool, and seems to work as expected, but if you have a problem you may as well ask the drive through window guy at taco bell how to fix it rather than the completely incompetent DJI Support. ... show more

This thing is amazing. I won't go on and on about it, because there are a million reviews. The only thing I'll say is that if I had it to do over, I probably wouldn't get the controller with the display built in, because it's just a cheap android device. Definitely recommend getting the multi battery charger and getting at least one extra battery. (I bought a second battery after my first day with it). ... show more
