Upped my video quality big time. It took my iphone vids with a gimbal from good, to amazing instantly. It's extremely easy to figure out, haptic in design, with a simple single screen that rotates between horizontal and vertical videos for shorts/ reels. The long handle gives great control for shooting b-roll, as well as being able to easily change between gimbal modes and different fps settings. DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Subject: Honestly, I’ve stopped using my phone for video! I bought the Pocket 3 about a month ago for a trip, and I’m genuinely blown away. I’m not a pro by any means, but this little thing makes my videos look like they were shot for a movie. What I Love: • The Screen: The flip-out screen is a game changer. It’s so satisfying to just "snap" it open to start recording. It feels very intuitive. • Low Light: This is where it beats my iPhone. I took some videos at a dimly lit dinner and a night walk, and there was almost no "grain" or noise. Everything looked super crisp. • Size: It literally fits in my pocket. I hate carrying a big camera bag, so being able to just grab this and go is a huge plus. • Face Tracking: Since I usually travel alone, the "ActiveTrack" is a lifesaver. I set it on a table, walk around, and the camera head follows me perfectly. A Few "Meh" Points: • Price: It’s definitely an investment. By the time you get the "Creator Combo" (which you kind of need for the extra battery and mic), it’s pretty pricey. • Fragility: It feels solid, but because of the moving gimbal, I’m always a bit nervous about dropping it. You have to be careful. Final Verdict: If you’re tired of shaky phone footage or your phone running out of storage/battery while filming, just get it. Im not a vlogger or videographer, i just wanted a fun video camera to play around with. Tbh i wanted a cam corder originally, something easy to use, this is not that. This takes a lot of getting used to with all its features and the gimbal but it takes amazing footage, its super fun to use, i love all the things i can do with it, i dont regret my purchase. The only thing i dont like about it though is that the gimbal makes it kind of fragile so its not this durable piece of travel equipment, i wish that it had some kind of protective case that stayed on it and maybe stayed attached and just slid down to turn into a handle. The protective case is just annoying because its a separate piece. So its hard to just whip this out and immediately start shooting and then quickly put it away.
