I picked this up at the last min before leaving on a month long trip. I also had with me two Sony cameras. In the end I used the Pocket 3 for 90% of everything we shot as it just works great. battery life is very good. we walked 5 to 6 hours a day shooting turning it on and off hundreds of time with zero problems. I shot over 1TB of 4k video with it I need to edit into many different videos. Its so small and easy to use. Most people do not even know you are video shooting as it dose not look like a camera. I also shot some still images and they look very good as well. Very glad I got this before the trip and will be using it all the time. To just stand in one place and have it pan from left to right or up and down pressing the button is so smooth no tripod or video head needed like you would need for a camera. The gimbal head makes shooting so much more smooth. Shooting at night I was very impressed as the video is very clean so I shot with it at night in many towns we went to in and outdoors. I just received this little camera today and play for a couple of hours. This camera elevated my video experience. The 1-Inch sensor delivers clear night views and vibrant sunsets. The 2-inch OLED screen is versatile for vlogging, switching seamlessly. Compared to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, it's lighter, smaller, and easy to carry. The 3-axis stabilization ensures steady, professional footage, and the stereo recording enhances audio quality. It supports advanced editing for pros. I'm 76 and have been avidly interested in cameras since I was in my 20's. I've had all sorts of action cameras such as Akasos, Yi, several DJI's including the Action 3 and the Pocket 2. Never have I been as impressed and pleased with a camera's performance as I have been with the Pocket 3. DJI truly hit it out of the park with this one. I've waited for two years for its release and it has not disappointed and has, in fact, gone beyond my most optimistic hopes. The OLED screen is beautiful and bright, the mic attaches effortlessly, the user interface is clear, sensible, and helpful, but more than anything it is the image quality that just blows my mind. I was lab manager for a photography studio for a number of years so I'm a real stickler for image quality. This is going to sound kind of weird but when I view the video on my 4k television the images are so beautiful I almost get the urge to lick the screen! Thankfully I have thus far resisted the temptation. I have but one criticism and it's very minor. The case that comes with the creator combo is a little too small. You can get everything in it but it's a slog and really not worth it. It is a very nice case, though, and I'm sure I'll be using it for something else. Great job DJI! ... show more

My wife started a LLC for online content. She is NOT camera competent, and I am a professional photographer. I recommended this to her for ease of use, video quality, and compatibility with accessories. She absolutely loves it. It's very compact and has many features and the video quality is better than your iPhone easily. We took it to Tokyo and the shots she got on the streets at night were amazing. She also does interviews with it, and showcases her life as a mother of toddlers. She even has a mount for the windshield of her car so she can record herself while she's driving. I like how it wont let me record until you install their dji app that isnt even in the app store. I dont want your spying app on my phone! And I don't like all the location and phone camera permissions it needs on my phone either. Seems like Spyware. It also collects user data. I don't like that. It's a 3rd party Chinese app that you can't get from the app store. You have to download an android apk from an unknown and unverified source online. The video quality is overhyped. When I used a gimbal on my Samsung S23 ultra in 4k60fps HDR+ vs the Pocket 3 4k60fps Dlog, the S23 ultra has better video quality and less noise on auto mode and pro mode. The only pro I can give this over hyped contraption is the fact that it's small. And it's good for people who are self conscious when filming in public. Most people won't think you have a camera in your hand. I have recording in public places and nobody even notices. The S23 and S24 have better cameras when your turn off digital stabilization and just use a 60 dollar gimbal. ***1 month update*** Gets very hot when recording or just charging it. I don't see this camera lasting very long. Even the gimbal motors have more vibration to them now. Used too be so smooth and fluid. ... show more
