Received on-time and as advertised from seller. Good delivery and there was no need to contact seller (which is good, meaning no problems!) DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is another separate review which, in short, gets 5 stars from me. Iʻve been the owner of both previous models of the Osmo and it IS a game changer. I can use the videos for work, for social media; Iʻm still trying to find ways to make the audio work better but the ability to get great VIDEO from this gimbal makes your phone worth the hard working money you paid to acquire it. Your phone (no matter what platform or type) right now is one of the best devices for video and photo right now without having to pay for a DSLR. This gimbal makes it from hand held shaky to usable for just about anything. It also works with some other apps in your phone as well (for video use). Both seller and product get 5 stars on this one.     • Smoothed out my videos
Once I realized how best to operate it, it has been great to use. (Instead of using the thumb stick to follow quick action, one rotates the wrist to follow basketball transitions. Directions! Who knew they could be so useful?!) Anyhow, I t’s made a huge difference in video quality by compensating for my rather unsteady hands. Also, when firing up the DJI app you pair with the unit, it changes video settings to 1080p at 60 frames/second. That too has helped video quality, but at cost of burning thru battery charge & available storage. Anyhow, my use case is recording video of my kids playing sports. My phone is an iPhone 8.     • Excellent piece of gear
This is just what I needed to make shooting video a bit easier. The operation is fairly intuitive and the app gives lots of great options. The one hiccup I had was when updating the firmware when I first used the unit. There was an error in updating and the unit stopped working. A quick search revealed the solution. I completely charged the unit and then tried updating the firmware and it worked perfectly. I am really looking forward to seeing what I can create with the help of this gimbal. ... show more

    • Great product, poor software.
What a strange little doohickey this is. I shoot on a DSLR for the most part, documenting travels and whatnot, and wanted a small little rig, but full size gimbals are a PITA. Enter, the Osmo Mobile 3. After a little get to know you time, this paired with a solid phone camera (I'm using a Pixel 4 XL) has worked extremely well for getting nice stable video shots, smooth pans (though I wish it could pan a bit wider without having to move my wrist), and the flipping function helps to switch which way you are pointing. I think the biggest detraction for this though is the software DJI uses, though it'd not entirely necessary. It's simply too clunky, slow, and takes a rocket scientist to fully utilize it properly. ... show more

Review done by my older son. I love this! Best thing ever. Update still loving this item. It is holding up very nicely. Overall worth the buy. Sturdy product. I have used this while skateboarding. Only problem that is not a problem of the product itself but the airport staff had a little bit of a hard time identifying it until finally one of the staff recognized what it was and let me go through with it. Love the DJI Osmo Mobile 3. I've been using my iPhoneX and the footage is amazing. Battery life is excellent, as advertised. And the price is right. An excellent product, a "must have" for anyone wanting to shoot pro looking footage. (As a side issue, I've been using Filmic Pro on the phone and have not been able to get the Mobile 3 to connect correctly so I can use the controls on the handle...I'm assuming it is a Filmic Pro app issue.) ... show more

wow what a really nice gadget for videosm was doubting this will actually be any diference than just a selfy stick but it it completly diferent. Setup is pretty simple, just follow the app guidance and ull have it running in no time. Now some phones are not exactly balanced so if u see a crooked situation with the phone, is not the atick, is the phone weight, just move it. Excellent device. ... show more
