This was a tough purchase for me at first because I already own a Sky Rover X1, which is basically a Mini 4 Pro clone, and I’m very happy with it. But the Mini 5 Pro is on a different level. DJI builds a more polished product. The camera is better, the sensors are better, the obstacle avoidance is better, and the whole system just feels more refined. I’ve only flown it a few times, thanks to the Pacific Northwest weather, but every flight has been smooth and impressive. It does everything my X1 can do, but with better image quality and more capability overall. The Fly More Combo is absolutely worth it. The three batteries last a long time. While DJI advertises 54 minutes, I was comfortably getting around 45 to maybe 50 minutes. One thing to keep in mind: this drone sits right at the 250-gram limit. If you add anything to it, you’ll go over. Because of that, I picked up a Remote ID module so I stay compliant. It’s not a downside to the drone itself, just something worth noting for anyone who plans to add accessories. The RC-2 controller is another highlight. You don’t have to hook up your phone or a tablet, and the built-in display is excellent. It makes setup faster and cleaner. The controller is a little heavy, though, so I recommend getting a lanyard. On longer flights, you can really feel it in your arms. Overall, this combo is outstanding, and I’m glad I got it when I did. Pros: Excellent build quality and very polished Noticeably better camera quality Great obstacle avoidance and lighting Smooth, stable flying even in mixed conditions Fly More Combo gives you three long-lasting batteries. RC-2 controller has a bright, built-in screen so no phone is needed The lanyard option helps with controller weight. Very quiet for its size Cons: Adding any accessory pushes it over 250 grams, which means Remote ID Controller is a bit heavy without a lanyard Battery life is a little under the advertised 54 minutes, but still strong Summary: An excellent drone with great performance, long battery life, a fantastic controller, and very polished features. This drone is fantastic. I love everything about it. I had some other drones in the past (contixo) which I found difficult to enjoy as I had to tinker with it constantly.(And no GPS) The easy of operation for my Pro 5 is awesome. I can concentrate on superb video and pictures. The camera is stunning with it's larger CMOS compared to the last model Pro 4. There are too many features to mention here! This drone is super fun, but it's NOT a TOY but a kid with video controller skills would do fine. So I've been eyeing this since last year finally cracked and told the wife I'm getting one I'm done waiting. placed the order. Was so scared this would come and be the 4 pro not the 5 but shockingly it was the right drone. I mean it was the same price for either so I wasn't going to be that mad but still. If you or anyone you know want this drone before thiers no stock left in the US do it don't wait to much longer. The bag that came with it was okay but in my opinion not great for much unless you are going to be traveling around the world taking it with you and still I prefer the bag I got on the side witch let's me take everything I could want with it. Can't say anything about how it flys yet I will up date this review after about 6 months in but so far I'm just happy it came and is exactly what I ordered. the product seems to be well made and they put so much effort in to the quality and design of it. I mean it feels like it's made of very durable and high quality plastic. I know you think at this price metal would be better but keep in mind metal is heavier and more pricey. I definitely like how easy it was to get it set up but it does have a few thing I would keep in mind. It's a signed package so make sure you are home and ready for the required signature. Second do not open the box and expect to just throw the battery in and fly it in 10 minutes. This took an hour to get set up. it has updates the battery need to be charged to full before the first flight now with that being said you can use the batterys to update it from the box and charge the separate ones so you could go fly after unboxing but don't just plan on running out and flying. Third thing is remember you have to take the trust test to fly in the USA and Remember you need LAANC and FAA clearance and permissions to fly in restricted zones this drone will lock you out untill you provide this information to dji and have updated the remote to let you fly only on the rc-2 not the non screened remote. !!!ATTENTION!!! THIS IS NOT A TOY. This is a peace of high end equipment that requires you to follow the law. You will end up with cops call you or showing up to your door if you do not follow the law. With that being stated this is a great drone from what I have been able to see so far but this isn't something I would just hand to a beginner and say have fun go do what you want. the smart controller has a sim to practice and I plane on getting hours of flight time in the controller sim before I take this thing out for its first flight. so I can get use to the control and how this thing works. But all that aside if you have been wanting one and have the money do it and spend the money for the combo and don't say you will upgrade later. if it's still for sale and the 1100 mark get it it's worth every penny. ... show more

Overall very satisfied with it. Battery life is fine, it is robust, and flying is fun. I especially like its accident avoidance systems, extremely handy as I live In a forest. Another couple nice features: it holds its position so you can adjust the optics and it knows its way back avoiding trees the whole way. Only issue it is a finicky syncing to its remote. It always does it, i find finesse and patience are key. Overall, this a quality mini-drone and well worth the $. If you want one, buy one now as they may not be available much longer. ... show more
