My second drone, my first being the first generation which had a short flight time of about 12 min. I hardly got it in the air and had t o return it. This drone, way cool, flight time I think about 45 min, much more complex with controls, you can set up for the video and still images as well as the control of flight of the drone, super nice. Range is sketchy and have flown it a 1 1/5 to 2f miles away but started loosing transmission and miraculously have not lost it..yay. slick piece of equipment, fun, but take it slow to learn all abut it...that is, buy it and then learn it. ... show more

If you haven't used a cutting-edge camera drone, you'll probably be amazed at the flight and photographic capability of these drones. The Mini 5 Pro is currently top of the sub-250g drones, but even the lesser camera drones from DJI are capable of performance no one dreamed of just a few years ago. The only thing to recommend against this device is that the technology is advancing so fast, you might consider waiting for the next generation. Given current US drone regulation, you would be just a happy with cheaper DJI models unless you have commercial remote pilot certificate. ... show more

This drone is fantastic. I love everything about it. I had some other drones in the past (contixo) which I found difficult to enjoy as I had to tinker with it constantly.(And no GPS) The easy of operation for my Pro 5 is awesome. I can concentrate on superb video and pictures. The camera is stunning with it's larger CMOS compared to the last model Pro 4. There are too many features to mention here! This drone is super fun, but it's NOT a TOY but a kid with video controller skills would do fine.
