Incredible drone! It’s unreal how I launched it off my building’s rooftop. The wind was strong up there, but the image was perfectly still. You couldn’t tell it was moving at all, like studio-quality film. I flew a couple of blocks away, all the way down to the wharf. There’s a hill and a bunch of buildings between me and the wharf. I ended up losing signal over the wharf and got scared. I thought I’d lose my drone, but it actually raised up in the air so high it went above the limit it’s usually allowed to go. It didn’t stop going up until it reestablished a clear connection with my phone and remote. I was able to fly back home without any problems. I was so relieved. I could’ve stopped flying before it got out of reach. It was giving me serious indications that it was about to lose signal. It was flashing in and out and blinking that I was out of range, but I just kept pushing it anyway. I don’t know what I was thinking. The drone is pretty friendly, very easy to use, and extremely portable. It’s very lightweight, and I actually put it in the pocket of my pants and rode my bicycle without even it being uncomfortable. It’s also extremely durable. I crashed it once without blade protectors, and you couldn’t even tell that I wrecked it. There was only a small scratch on one of the blades. The only function I wish it had was auto-tracking. It doesn’t auto-track a person or bicycle and follow you on its own. ... show more

This is a lot of fun. All other brands would compare to the dji. They are a little more pricey but the quality and pictures are worth it. You won't be disappointed with the purchase. I would recommend getting a case right away and an extra battery and charger

Out of all the drones I've owned, this is easily the one I would recommend the most. One of its biggest advantages is how portable it is. Being under 250 grams makes it easy to take almost anywhere without giving up performance. The build quality also feels much better than many of the other drones I've used, and it has held up well. The camera is excellent, producing sharp photos and great-looking 4K video. Battery life has been more than enough for my flights, and the connection between the controller and drone has been reliable as long as you're flying in a reasonable environment. As a beginner, I found the controls very easy to learn. The DJI Fly app is simple to use, making setup, flying, and transferring footage straightforward. Another huge advantage is DJI's customer support. Unlike many cheaper drone brands, they actually have responsive support if you ever need help, which adds a lot of confidence when buying an expensive drone. Overall, I think this drone offers excellent value for the money. It's compact, powerful, reliable, and takes amazing photos and videos. Whether you're just getting into drones or looking to upgrade, I highly recommend the DJI Mini 3. ... show more

This is an AMAZING drone. Video and picture quality is unreal. I couldn’t be happier with my DJI Mini 3. This is actually my first drone and I got it for an add on to wedding packages. (I’m a photographer) This drone strikes the perfect balance between being compact enough to take anywhere and powerful enough to capture smooth, professional-looking footage. It’s incredibly easy to fly, even as someone who’s not a professional pilot.😂😂 The controls are intuitive, and the drone feels stable even in light winds. I’ve flown it around houses and open fields, and it handles both with confidence. The return-to-home feature gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m flying further out. CONS: Battery life from what I’ve used is not the best. I can get about a good 30 minutes of use before it needs to be charged again. I included a video of me flying it around my parents house. I got this at a very lucrative deal, which gave me around a $100 discount. The delivery was on time (could have come earlier but I love the wait). Coming to the drone, I believe for the price I paid for this, we usuallt get a dji mini 2 se and can never be compared with the mini 3 , mini 3 destroys mini 2 se in almost all fields. Well built, not even a tiny bit of imperfection, everything works as it should. The Materials and the moving parts dont feel flimsy at all. The flight time is a full 30mins even when it says 38 on the box. I am talking from real life scenarios. I would suggest buying a highspeed sd card preferably 128gb, but I highly doubt you will be able to fill it. The connection is flawless and the reception is too good. Camera quality annihilates any other drones in this category (please note its competition is mini 3 pro which nothing but the same drone with a obstacle detection, which I dont need ofcourse). The mini 3 recently has received a firmware upgrade which lets it take 48mp stills (hoping they add tracking, afterall its just a software feature). The return to home feature works flawlessly and I have used it almost everytime I am done flying it, its precise unless you are in a remote area with less gps coverage. Overall I am very satisfied with the buy, this is a marvel of modern technology and I would suggest anyone who wants to own it to not think twice and pick it up. If you are novice flyer I would suggest u to go for obstacle avoidance system which is in the pro models. Get the fly more combo if you want to fly it more than half an hour because the charging time is more if you use the drone itself to charge. I believe the fly more combos are a steal with the package that they offer. Go get this guys you wont regret buying this. ... show more

    • Connection Problems and No Resolution from DJI

I purchased this drone specifically for an important trip, and unfortunately it has been one of the most frustrating electronics purchases I have made. The main issue is an intermittent connection problem between the remote controller and my phone. Sometimes everything works perfectly, but other times the phone fails to recognize the controller, disconnects unexpectedly, or loses connection during flight. What makes this especially frustrating is that the issue is sporadic and difficult to reproduce consistently. I spent considerable time troubleshooting before contacting support. I tested multiple USB cables, multiple phones, and verified that the cables and phone ports were working properly with other devices. Despite all of this, the problem continued to occur. At one point, the controller disconnected while the drone was in flight. I recorded the incident and provided video evidence, screen recordings, flight logs, and detailed explanations to support. I had already sent the drone and controller in for inspection once before, but because the issue is intermittent, the service center could not reproduce it and returned the equipment without resolving the problem. Now I am being asked to send everything back again for another inspection that may take several weeks. Unfortunately, I purchased this drone specifically for an upcoming trip, and there is a real possibility that I will not have a functioning drone available when I need it most. The drone itself has good image quality when it works, but reliability is far more important. A drone that may randomly disconnect from the controller or phone during operation is not something I can confidently recommend, especially considering the difficulty of obtaining a timely resolution through support. ... show more
