The camara is absolutely amazing. DJI mini 3 make great video and takes perfect photo. DJI has had no issue at all very easy to fly. Its range is about 2 miles out at 350 feet.

    • Loads of fun. Great video. Very stable.
This thing is great fun. It's a bit louder than I expected it to be. I can hear it from a LONG ways away. There's also a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it going, it's great. The only complaint I would have about it is in the programming. If you try to fly in a place that requires permission to fly, you have to connect to the internet to get that permission. You have to turn the drone on to get the notice that you need to connect to the internet, but as soon as you turn it on, the drone shuts off it's wi-fi connection, so it's not actually possible to get permission on the drone. It's a catch-22 thing that there is no way to get around. You are supposed to be able to go to a website on another device to get that permission, but that website is never up and running (or maybe it is sometimes, but I have never found it up and running, ... never, not even once.) Point is, if you're in one of those places where you need permission, or you want to fly in such places, don't get this drone because you will not be able to get permission to fly there. One other minor issue worth nothing is that the batteries do not hold a charge very long. If you charge them today planning to use them tomorrow, by tomorrow they will have lost a significant portion of their charge. ... show more

I should’ve done a little more research into buying the Mini 3. I misread a few things from other online reviews. Drone is great but it needs to have all the good features as the Mini 4 pro to get the best experiences. Returning it then upgrading to the Mini 4 Pro.

Package arrived with no instructions for any of the purchased software, the back pack is not worth the extra money spent. The 2 year insurance seems like a 3rd party scam - when you activate the drone buy the DJI plan it covers everything. The 2 year insurance is delivered in a plastic card with a web site address that was shoved into the box after it was taped up that could have fallen out before delivery. OHHHHH with everything that seemed to be missing, they did send me a selfie stick?????? that was not in the package deal that I paid for so I guess I should be happy. The setup process with the controller is a bit tedious. Made the mistake picking the Mini 3, instead of Mini 3 Pro and had the problem of pairing up with the drone.So swipe the model to select the correct model for dtone, then all the steps afterwards, such as firmwares/oftware upgrade is straightforward, including the pariingafter installation. It's obvious now but was a bit confusing with the model selection at the beginning of controller setup process, since both the regular model and the pro model look exactly the same, except the title during selection process. ... show more

Making the choice to purchase the DJI mini 3 Pro was a well thought out process. I have compared several drones, and there features and issues that my of come up with the DJI line of drone and found that the mini-3 pro had the least of issues. The price point was in my budget, and with the bundle package it also added savings. I have enjoyed flying Mini 3 pro. This is not my first drone. Love the 249 Grams weight, and size making it portable to fit in a small carrying case or small backpack, the picture quality with the feature settings breaks the limits for getting the best photo shots, and videos. The bundle package that Beach Camera put together was great, but I would have enjoyed the ND filters in the bundle. I feel the ND filters are a definite need, as far as the service from Beach Camera. Delivery was on time, even coming one day earlier. The only problem I had was the VR google that came in the box was damaged. I called Beach Camera spoke to a representee and quicky addressed my concern and shipped another VR google and received them in 3 days GREAT JOB! The 2 year extended warranty that comes with the bundle package is very basic. Best that you purchase a DJI Care refresh plan for 1 or 2 years. I purchased the 2 years plan its worth every bit of the investment to insure your drone. When you turn on your drone for the first time it will prompt you if you want to buy the Care refresh plan giving you the option to buy the 1 or 2 year plan Just buy it. ... show more
