The Mavik Mini drone is outstanding, especially for this price. For reference, I have had one drone before this (Parrot Bebop). Pros: -Stability and control are simply outstanding. Very easy to fly and includes three different settings. Easy to make micro-adjustments in-flight, this allows you to get some very good shots. -Camera quality is unbelievable. For $400 I am shocked at how great the photos and videos turn out. If you're wondering, the quality is so good that it could definitely be used for commercial purposes. -The size. I was a little reluctant at first to buy a "mini" drone, but once you get used to the size difference it doesn't feel odd. I now prefer the small size. -The controller is easy to use, feels sturdy, and is compact. -Overall just seems to be put together and designed really well. -Battery life. I haven't fully tested it to its limits, but I've gotten 30-35 minutes of flight time while using the camera for 80% of that time. -Very easy set-up. Cons: -The gimbal protector is kind of a pain to fit around the camera. This isn't a big deal as it only takes a few extra seconds to get on correctly. It just could be better. -The cord that plugs your phone into the controller only fits through the controller one way, again not a big deal. -It only came with one charging cord (you charge the controller and drone with the same cord). Also, it didn't come with the outlet for the wall. This was somewhat dissapointing. Overall, totally amazing drone that can be flown by the amateur or professional for commercial purposes. I don't think I will ever buy anything that isn't from DJI again. This is a gamechanger. ... show more

I love my DJI Mavic Mini. In fact, this product has been sold out by DJI and it's actually quicker to order and get it from AMAZON - which is AMAZING. It's super use to learn and the footage quality has been great! It doesn't work if the wind is too strong but usually -that won't be a sunny day to shoot anyways -right? So, I am quite satisfied with the mavic mini. It's so compact and the price is great! ... show more

This is my second drone. Had to return my first one (different company) because the camera and video didn't work. This drone is easy to fly and has great instructions and video to help you along the learning curve. Highly recommended! I would like to use third party firmware to fly with Waypoints. At this time that capability is not available for the Mini. Other than that I'm having a blast with it! ... show more

I bought this because we live on 24 acres and it is easier to scan the acreage with the drone than it is to drive around in a atv checking on the various animals we have. The drone is easy to use and is durable.... mine has been 'crashed' landed several times and it still flies like new. I ordered propeller covers and a second battery because I like it so much. ... show more

    • Read Description carefully - you don't get what is in the picture
Paid more for the starter bundle thinking that I was getting what was in the picture. When product arrived I had received only the drone and a small microcloth. I talked to customer service and they did say that the picture was wrong and that I should have read the description better and that they had other calls about the same problem. Needless to say, not happy with my purchase and sending back the same day I received it. Immediately ordered another drone package from a different company whose picture and description matched. It works and flies after three weeks of being stuck in the tree. 90 feet above the ground. I am in fact a branding are broke one arm. No big deal. So I had to buy me one more. It turns out that that drone that was stuck in the tree still works so I have an extra drone
