I love this drone!! It is my first one so I am def a beginner. It is super easy to fly. Even in somewhat windy conditions the camera is extremely stable. I love how the app creates a little video of what you captured and then puts music to it. But I wish I could post them to FB.     • Easy to operate for beginners.
I’m new to piloting drones. The MAVIC Air is very easy to operate. To take full advantage of all the features you need to use the DJI Go 4 app on your smart phone and attach it to the controller. For me, the app is confusing and takes a while to learn. Fortunately, I have found plenty of information and videos posted by DJI as well as other MAVIC Air users. I love the portability.     • good little drone
very easy to fly, beginner mode works well as it dampers the movement for out of the box first time flyer. a little misguided at first with the usb c port on the drone (thought it could charge the drone via that port) but the manual cleared it up. can't keep a reliable wifi connection (the phone shows it's connected but the app can't read it) via phone only unless the phone is in airplane mode (very funny DJI), no problems using the remote connected to phone though. charge time is about 60 min for ~20 minutes max of flight time this includes an automatic return to home at about 15% battery remaining, low battery alert at about 25%. A bit annoying with the flight restrictions as it tells me every time I go to fly that I need authorization to fly. have yet to try the advanced features. overall i think it is a great little drone. -1 star for the connection problem. ... show more

Probably the best drone company made this. Loads of fun flying and the videos and pictures are beautiful. Flying a DJI drone is very easy. The learning curve is very shallow.

    • 2 Batteries are going bad
I bought this drone only 4.5 months ago and I have to send it back. 2 of the Lithium Ion Batteries are going bad. Just 2 days ago I began to get errors and warnings that the processor is overheating so I landed. Then I see that the battery is swollen and the light on it is blinking. I have a second battery that the same day also swelled and overheated yet without any error or warning messages. This could be a potential hazard and a potentially large loss would I have not noticed. ... show more

This is another great dji product, the firmware updates are easy, set up and flying is super easy, my only complaints is it’s a lot louder than the phantom I had, and it isn’t set up to use a tablet, if you use a tablet you have to purchase a tablet holder and a longer cable that goes from the rc to tanlet, also if you use your phone you must remove the case it is in or it won’t fit in the holder. ... show more

Fantastic little quad! Very stable in flight even in breezy conditions. Images and video are great. Super portable! Very happy with my purchase. Can't wait to take it on trips to capture vacation video from the air!
