This bag is an absolute MUST HAVE for any small puppy owner. Seriously - if you want to make your life easier, you need this tote bag. I got the large size for my 5 month old Miniature Dachshund in hopes she can still fit into it as she grows - so far it's seeming like the size will be absolutely perfect. The quality of this bag is absolutely amazing... it's very sturdy and high quality and definitely looks the part of a classy high-end bag. I love that there are enough pockets to hold both your personal items (wallet, phone, sunglasses) AND some stuff for your pet (a leash, treats, a toy or two, etc). The thing I love most about this bag is how easy it makes bringing my pup to a restaurant - I can set the bag down on the ground and she still feels comfortable (instead of having to lay down on a hard floor of a place she isn't familiar with). I also love that I can clip her harness to the bag so she stays secure and I don't have to worry about her getting out. I recommend adding in a fluffy blanket to make it extra cozy - my dog really loves it in there! Running errands is super easy with this bag as well - especially when bringing puppies to new places they might be nervous about. I took my puppy to a super crowded outdoor mall for a few hours and she was so calm and curious - mostly because she got to observe the new environment from the comfort of her cozy little spot in her Django bag :) A really great tool for socialization, especially if your pup isn't fully vaccinated yet! ... show more

I love this bag as does my dog. I love it because the design looks like a chic tote bag, the size is just right, the materials are durable (interior, exterior and bottom), the removable pad is easy to clean, it has the right amount of pockets, there is an interior clasp, and the straps are the right length to carry over the shoulder or by your side (I am 5’3”). My dog loves it so much I have to hide it from him otherwise he whines and thinks he is going somewhere with me. He jumps in it as soon as I pull it out! He is a 5 lb Yorkie/Silky Terrier mix, about 11” long and 7” tall (not including his big ears). He loves to stick his head out as well as take naps in it. We live in New York City and it’s perfect to use in the subway or bus. Some fellow subway riders don’t even notice I have a dog (because it is small and doesn’t look like a dog carrier) although my dog is calm and quiet so that helps too! I don’t find the bag heavy at all as some people have said. It does collapse a little on its own but I don’t have a problem with that considering all the many positives with this bag. The price may be considered high compared to others but I think it’s worth it knowing the quality and how often I’ve used it and will use it. This bag is perfect for anyone with a small dog who is looking for a carrier that looks like a stylish tote bag and is very functional at the same time. ... show more

Beautiful carrier and my sweet girl is very comfortable in it. Took it on a trip last weekend and it does fit under the airline seat. Not saying that it is airline approved but it does fit and she did a lot better then in a typical carrier. Only thing I would say I wish it that it wasn't so heavy. After a short time, it gets heavy on my shoulder. My furry child is a 6 lb pom. But I love all the pockets, I was able to put items like license, ticket and lipstick in the pocket and not take my purse. Only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is due to the weight and cost, however, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy carrier for their furry child. The sides do not collapse and it is very comfy and roomy. Compared to others it is a bit costly but it is made extremely well and solid and I doubt that I will need to purchase another case for years to come! ... show more

My dog is a 14lb mini Aussie, 16" in length and 17" in girth for reference. I bought both medium and large to compare sizes and decided to keep the large because my dog could actually lie down all the way without looking too squished. He also has enough room to tuck his head in and turn around after stepping in on his own. Pros: Love the look and color of this bag! It's super sturdy and made using quality materials. Very easy to do spot cleaning, the padding cover at the bottom is also removable to wash in the washing machine. The leather is soft and does not dig into my shoulders. I like the deep pockets and the fact that they all have zippers for security. My dog really loves this bag and always tries to jump in when he sees me getting ready to leave with the bag. I like that there's a short leash clip so that you can clip your dog into the bag. Sometimes I noticed that if my dog is sitting too close to the opening of the bag it will tilt forward which might make your dog want to jump out in fear of falling out, but the leash clip prevents that! Cons: I wished there was a little slot on the bag so that I could slide it onto the handle of my suitcase. Also, the bag is a little on the heavier side. For reference just add about 3-4lbs to the weight of your dog and that's the weight you'll be carrying on your shoulders. ... show more
