I am hugely obsessed with miniatures and LOVE the name-brand miniature kits similar to this one. The cost for this was substantially lower than comparable big-brand sets but the quality was only a slightly lower. It's an excellent value. The plastic is a bit thinner than the other sets and some of the individual accessories are lacking (like the pastries or the coffee stirrers) but overall it looks great and is well worth it. I especially love the espresso machine and little coffee cups, so cute! And I like that this includes a working light and case/door; comparable "mini" sets like this from the big brand also include a case and door but do NOT include any lighted parts. The size is slightly larger as well, which is nice but it means it won't line up or stack perfectly with competitor brand "mini" sets.

My 10 year old loved putting this together. It was so fun! The light was the best part. Really neat set and good for kids that love to craft.

The media could not be loaded. This kit is almost completely plastic. There are two wall inserts and bags and boxes that you assemble all made of card stock. The instructions for this kit were not good. They are all pictorial instructions and not a single part is labeled. The side walls are very difficult to insert into the base and they are so tight that they keep popping up instead of staying down. That is an issue more-so on the left side since the front swinging cover will fall out if it rises up too high. The build pieces sometimes are almost too tight to put together and others require the use of the included double sided glue dots. There are very few circular spots on many of the pieces so the round glue dots are awkward to use placing pieces to stay in place. I would suggest using your own glue or double sided glue tape. The build is relatively quick and the finished product is cute for a building block style kit.

For those that like crafting or miniatures or dollhouses, these diorama-like sets are so much fun. NOTE: I'm a full grown adult and loved it! You get a full set of step-by-step, detailed instructions and I didn't notice any missing pieces at all. A lot of attention has been paid to small details, which is awesome. I'm not exactly sure of the scale but the finished product has a footprint similar to a 5x7 photo or birthday card. There are a lots of die cut, cardstock, mini boxes to fold but they are scored well and fold easily. Use the included plastic tweezers to align place all of the completed boxes in place for final touches. Another great thing with this set is that you get a set of glue dots to keep all of your accessories set in place. This makes a HUGE difference in keeping the frustration level low! The reason I took off a star is because a few of the pieces had to be 'trimmed' with an craft knife to get them to fit together. Also, there isn't an age recommendation for this product but there are lots of tiny pieces so this is not meant for little ones that like to put things in their mouths. Another strange feature is that the kit says (and shows) it is a "brick building" set - but that isn't true at all. There are no 'bricks' in this kit. All in all this kit is fun to assemble, looks adorable when finished (I forgot to mention there's also a working light fixture!) and is generally worth the money.

I’m addicted to the Rolife minis! Just challenging enough without being too hard to complete. The details are amazing and I love that you get a bunch of if glue dots to held everything down. I’m definitely buying more! You can stack them together when completed.

Nicely laid out, and a simply detailed little scene. The protective clear case is a nice value-added touch. A AAA battery is required for the lights. This is appropriate for any age that's old enough to know not to eat the pieces; obviously, small pieces can be a hazard for very young children. Not overly complicated, this is easy to put together and doesn't take too long, so it is a good entry-level piece.

I enjoy this miniature building set! It's so cute and fun, and I really appreciate how easy it is to put together. Compared to some other building sets I've tried, this one seems to be a bit more straightforward and simpler, which is a definite plus. While it does have some nice details, I want to set expectations that it's not a massive set with hundreds of pieces to assemble and display. Instead, it's a more compact and manageable project that can be completed in about 1-3 hours, depending on your pace. I think this set would be great for kids who are old enough to appreciate detail and complexity, but maybe not so young that they'd get frustrated with the assembly process. For adults, it's a great way to unwind and express some creativity. One of the things I really like about this set is the clear plastic doors and sides, which allow you to see right into the miniature and keep dust out! The accessories are also really fun, and I love that it comes with lights that you can turn on and off. If you take a look at the pictures, you can see all the little details and extras that come with the set. The set seems sturdy and well-made, and I'm confident that it'll hold up over time. I'm actually planning to put it together with my kids later this week, as a fun activity we can do together. It looks like it'll be a great way to spend some quality time together and create something really special. If you're looking for a fun and easy building project, I'd definitely recommend checking this one out! The instruction manual is laid out to be easy to read and understand. I think that is a highlight because some of these sets come with instructions that are unclear. It is currently $29.99 it seems like a reasonable price for sets like this, it all depends on what you think the value should be. Once I put it together I will update if there are any flaws that I found.
