When this 3-D puzzle (?) arrived, I didn’t realize that the light switch was broken. The parts circled in red on the first photo should have been one complete piece. I’d suggest the manufacturer place this delicate piece of electronics in its own little box from now on because it obviously wasn’t protected well enough inside the foam envelope with the other electronic parts and the acrylic plate for the cabin. I was halfway through putting it all together before I realized that I’d have to repair the switch or just make do without lights, but that’s one of the best parts - seeing the cabin lit up! Fortunately, I was able to figure out how the switch should be put together and was able to bend the metal frame back to flat and to super-glue it back in place once the other parts were assembled correctly. Other than that bit of bother, it was a fun build but it isn’t really a “puzzle” because the instructions show you how to build it piece by piece. It’s more of a model or diorama. Once you get it put together, the lights are still the best part!

My wife and I started enjoying these little crafts in the last year. I’ll say, this one is neat. It was fun to do and the instructions were clear. It was fun to do and we like having it on a display mantel in our bedroom along with a few others.

This is a fun project, we are using it for a TTRPG as the murder house, LOL. It was kind of fun to put together. The instructions are pretty good. There are a couple of places where it was hard to tell which way the piece would go, but as you're putting it together, you'll figure it out. The only thing I have to complain about is that the LED lights are made in a way that you can't actually use them as described in the instructions. The light is a tiny bulb on a set of wires that goes into a tiny hole, and the wires should bend 90, right there, so that you can run them across the ceiling and to the controller. The wires are very stiff from the light itself out about an inch. It feels like I'm going to break the wires if I bend it like that.
