Be sure to check the dimensions. The walls are wood, the buildings and bridge are plastic. Pros: The quality of this product is good. It comes with an instruction booklet that is tiny, but also included in my package was a full color blow up of the instructions. I like that the instructions are in color and very easy to follow. It's cute when it's done. Cons: This is one of those nooks where you have to apply paper to every part. i.e.: The gondolier has to be cut from paper and glued to the plastic part. Both the front and back of the boards have to have the scenery glued to them. And so it goes for every piece. I, personally, don't like this kind of nook. If you don't mind the size or the amount of detail that goes into building book nooks such as these, then I believe that you will be very happy with this one. If your like me, and don't like to do so much gluing, skip this one. ... show more

I received this for my birthday and thought it would be more “plug and play” instead of full-on crafting. Cutting, gluing and molding…..just wasn’t what I expected. I also didn’t like that the supplies needed weren’t included. Not worth the money.

Lots of missing pieces. Instructions don’t make sense such putting a light in a coffee cup, none of which are lit up in the pictures. Very disappointing.
