This is a very cute craft. Some pieces didn’t fit so I had to either sand a lot or remove the tabs altogether. But that was no big deal for me. The staircase was a total nightmare. It took me three days because I had to walk away sometimes as I got very frustrated. The cat that was included was hideous. I didn’t use it. Not a big deal. My wife and kids worked on these for hours!! Fun little project, pretty detail oriented as well. Everything was made of good quality, and its a cute set up once its all said and done. Ive purchased a few others just like it because they enjoyed the first one so much! Would recommend to kill some time and get off the screens.

I've not finish building this kit but I am about halfway through. First thing I noticed is that it didn't include the glue and it said it was included. Not a big deal because I've made a bunch of kits like this and I have glue. I also noticed that it didn't include any other tools when I've gotten kits at a similar price point that had scissors and everything included so for this kit to not even have the glue it said it would have was disappointing. Then, I got to assembling. I've had to sand so many pieces to this kit because they don't fit in the notches. Like, every thing I've built that was wooden needed to be sanded so the pieces fit together. Then I hit my second missing item, it gives me instructions on how to install the music box but there is no music box in my kit. So the back of my little shop is going to have a couple of open holes in it. That was another disappointment. I also noticed they swapped out one of the cats for another one which isn't that big of a deal because at least it wasn't left out. I will say minus the sanding assembly has been easy and the instructions are easier to follow than other kits I've bought. Also all the paper is precut so you just have to gently rip it apart it's nice there isn't that much cutting. And the paper is a good quality and the colors are nice and vibrant. Hoping to finish this kit up in the next evening or 2 and hoping I don't run in to anymore missing bits.

This is my fourth book nook / doll house build. I really like how they provided actual 3d miniatures, as opposed to flat 2d cardboard cut outs with an image on one side. That alone keeps makes this doll house a winner. But, for some reason, in the day light, the doll house doesn't look nearly as good as it does at night with the lights on. Overall, though, I do like this and would recommend it for new doll house builders.

My daughter enjoys putting together these types of kits, both miniatures and book nooks, and this one adds in another favorite of hers - books. This is a great little kit to put together, with directions that are easy to follow and a finished product that is just neat. The quality of the pieces is decent and this would make a great gift for puzzle enthusiasts as well as crafters of other crafts; it might be a new hobby for someone....

This is my first time building one of these mini kits so I don't have a great frame of reference, but I really liked this kit. The final product is very cute, and instructions are clear and easy to follow. I loved that I could customize some of the flowers decorations. However, the kit could use some improvements as some pieces did not fit well and there were also some mismatched template sizes and some parts were in the wrong bags.
