My daughters are out of school during summer and I wanted to challenge them with this set. They enjoy arts and crafts in general, but never one at this intricate level. There are so many pieces to construct before getting to the greenhouse. You have to create the basket, the rope on the basket, and build the flowers that goes into the basket. That’s just one piece and there are so many other parts. Needless to say, this definitely test their patience. It’s much better than spending mindless hours on iPad. The reward for these seems worth it. They are so proud after each piece is completed and would run to show us what they made. The pieces are beautiful and miniature. They’ve been doing a few pieces a day. So far it’s been a relaxing art session for them and it’s well worth the price for the hours they will spend on these. ... show more

This is a great activity for older kids. The amount of time and focus to complete this doll house creates a finished product that will be treasured. After assembly the decorative part is so fun. It comes with so many options to customize. These decorative pieces will also require measuring and cutting and assembly. Adding our own personal touches was truly the highlight of this entire project. This takes several hours. It’s a great project to work on an hour or two at a time. But do not think that this will be a quick assembly. The media could not be loaded. Seems like a nice looking doll house. Sam is Emily will be required. I’ll take pictures of my unboxing experience so you can see what’s involved. It looks like it’ll be really pretty ones assembled. I don’t think this is a project for a little kids to do on their own but I have adult supervision at assistance. Overall, I think this is nice.
