When I was on vacation, I saw a kit similar to this, but it was a greenhouse. It was roughly 75.00 and I passed on it. Recently, I saw these kits on Amazon and started really looking into them. The greenhouse kit that I had my heart set on has a large amount of the items that are made from paper. For that reason, I started looking at other kits and settled on this one. Most of the decor items are made from wood. It is thicker and sturdier than balsa wood and even has a light up feature. I am still working on it, but I have not had the issue with the pieces being overly difficult to remove from the wooden framing. The instructions do advise you to use an exacto knife (or similar) to cut those little connecting pieces so the pieces come out smoothly. I was pleased to see that the glue dries quick and holds quite well. I am not sure I will have enough to finish the entire project, but we will see. I have been using a children's glue stick for the few paper items that I need to assemble as I think that is probably more appropriate. For those frustrated with the instructions and with the assembly - I have only put one piece on incorrectly so far, and I will admit that this was on me. The instructions do clearly show which was it was supposed to go. I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to buying another one once this is finished.

My son loves to join me for miniature club days and these types of kits really make it easier for him to participate. He is a big fan of HP literature, and this Magical market design looked like something straight out of the movie. It was just beautiful. The snap apart wood was easy to glue with the provided superglue, but we tend to use our favorites like T6000 which has a fine tip, and locktite gel superglue, to speed up the process when assembling. He loves every part of this and his friends have seen us do a few of these book nook sets by now that they want to join us for a miniature building crafternoon as well. It is a great stress reliever and it brings us closer together by being able to share this hobby with him. I can't wait to see more in this series.

Instructions are not clear, images are different than what the actual pieces are, most pieces arent perforated causing many pieces to break, peel, etc. Not at all happy with this manufacture.

Over all the project took way too long to complete and the very disappointing part of this was the direction need to be reprinted because the design are to small and it is hard to figure out where certain items are supposed to be placed and the quality is not that great I would definitely not purchase another product from this manufacture again, it did come with a small bottle of glue but not enough to finish the project. If you are planning on buying a book nook look at the manufacturer (fsolis) I would recommend a lot of these items, I have finished two of there items and they quality is excellent.

This was so fun and easy to build. It just takes patience, a steady hand, and the ability to follow step-by-step directions very well. I used a lot of wood glue, although it was probably unnecessary. I love the finished product.

The wood is cheap and a lot of my pieces broke. I had to glue together other pieces that I shouldn’t have had to glue. The instructions aren’t very great. I definitely will not be purchasing from this seller again. The quality was not worth the price I paid
