This air mattress is excellent. It’s very easy to inflate and deflate to your comfort level. My sister had to use this in order to sleep downstairs while she was recovering from foot surgery. Her bedroom is upstairs and she is unable to use the stairs at this point. I also will be using the air mattress in a couple of months when I have a knee replacement surgery as my bedroom is also upstairs. Very convenient item to have around! We have already used on a ski trip and for a kids sleepover. It is perfect for ski trips because I don't want to spend money on a 2 bedroom hotel or condo with all of the beds we need. This allows me to slip in another comfortable bed and is very portable to bring along in our stuffed car. Very easy to store as well. I like that the plug stores in the mattress and doesn't dangle around, and also that there is a deflate function. My older Queen Aerobed blow up mattress doesn't have these functions - you have to manually deflate and wrestle with the thing to get the air out. I find this more useful than my Queen blow up as only one person will generally sleep on a queen blow up anyway, may as well get a twin so it is more portable. My only fear is that this will break. I hope it's durable. One time I was inflating it and let it run for a bit while setting up other beds/ blankets for my son's sleepover. The pump handle got really hot and it stopped working all of the sudden. I let it cool down for a half an hour and then finished inflating it later and it worked again. Still, I am nervous this might tank on us. You might not want to run the pump longer than necessary because it might overheat/ stress the machine. ... show more

Absolutely terrible, I’d give it a 0 if I could. I was excited to try glamping (comfortable sleep camping). We set it up around 4 pm yesterday for the first time and by 930pm noticed it was slightly deflated. We couldn’t pump it again because we were concerned with waking the kiddos up (they had their own cots) and the rest of the campground with the sound of the pump. In the middle of the night I had to bail due to my back hurting and had to sleep on the cold floor of the tent. We didn’t have our usual camp mat or sleeping bags with us because I thought we were going to sleep on a fancy mattress. So it was a cold night. By the next morning my husband was a taco inside the mattress. He didn’t have the pillow over his head, he literally was so far down into the mattress you can’t see him (see pic). I did inflate it the day prior just to check it out and everything seemed fine. It inflated fast and I didn’t notice any smell. I’d throw it away but I want my money back. We didn’t let the kids jump on it, they spent the day playing outside so it’s not like it was poorly used. The air mattress was a waste of money and I feel at this point the company owes us money for massages, lol. ... show more
