We needed something full-featured but with a small footprint - plus Princess themed - and this was so it! I thought for sure something would go wrong putting it together but knocked it out in 30 minutes and was blown away by all the features. It was real easy to assemble. No screwdriver or tools needed. Parts just clip one which was convenient. I'm giving it 4 stars due to the price. I felt being that it is all plastic the price was a but much. However, my daughters really love it. I love the kitchen set. I bought it for my 1 year old. She will be playing with it for years to come, as it is 3.5 feet tall. It has lots of sounds and doors. All in all it is a great set. I give it 4 stars because though it is a Disney Princess kitchen, it doesn’t mention names of any of the princesses. The old sets did, and I wish that had been incorporated into this set. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 9 months ago and she loves it. I was really nervous that she might break the door of the dish washer because it opens and lays down and is plastic, but it has held up really well. Everything still works perfectly. We were very dissatisfied with this kitchen set. The sound effects didn’t work. The light on the stove top and the microwave stopped lighting up after a day. The ice maker has no sound. The handle on the dishwasher pops off when you open the door. The connectors are all connected and the batteries were brand new, nothing still worked. The lights on the stove top and the microwave only worked for a day. This was very disappointing since we were surprising our god daughter with this for Christmas. I didn’t like that the microwave came broken. I also didn’t like that the instructions did not show specifically how to connect the cords for the electrical feature. But once you have it all together it’s great.
