Ok, so this is expensive compared to even the extra whitening enzyme formula for the big name brand product. But if it’s in your budget, it’s worth making the switch. First things first, the name brand is so heavily perfumed that even after 3 washes with a regular detergent the smell lingers. This stuff has no added perfumes. The natural scent of the product is much milder than the other stuff. Also, it just works better. One concentrated scoop out of this small, plastic free container does a much better job than the two huge scoops out of the big plastic tub from the other brand. All our linens are white and we have a cat who thinks knocking a coffee off the countertop or onto the bed is the height of comedy. This gets the coffee (and dirt, and grass stains) out every time so far with no problem. Our old brand would get some but not all of the dirt and stains out. We’ve tried a couple of natural replacements for the oxidizer and enzyme detergents before, but none of them have worked well enough to make the switch until now. Plus, even though it’s a small container this is several months worth of product at the rate we use it. That’s a little less than half the amount we get from the other brand, but it’s no contest. This is definitely the better buy in my opinion.
