The instructions were impossible to understand, and i'm no stranger to putting furniture together. So many pieces and very little cohesion in the manual. Labels and stickers were not doing their job. When other reviewers said the wood had no holes to attach it to the frame, I though maybe it wasn't everyone. It probably is. If I didn't have a drill I could never have attached the wood pieces to the frame. The bed frame itself is also a little shorter than most, height wise, so it feels somewhat awkward when you get out of bed. They do give you measurements and it was accurate. My 12 year old and I put this bed together for my 4 year old, so it is decidedly easy to assemble. There is a lot of metal so it will look confusing as you’re pulling it out of the box, but once you dig in you’ll find it’s rather easy. It feels sturdy, and he has already jumped around a few times. I’ve laid on it and there is no squeak or shaking when shifting around (I’m 170 for reference). I am very happy with this purchase. Adding: there are no holes pre drilled when attaching the wood for the headboard, so I used a screw gun for that. The screws are pointed though and it grabs it just right with no issue. ... show more

I received this bed frame and was not able to use due to missing parts. Amazon did send a entire frame to get parts from but now I am struggling to return the parts Amazon wants back cause I have to spend my personal time waiting to do that. It’s big and heavy and I have to move it around much more then I planned. I tried emailing Amazon but custom service does not use email I was told. I was hoping this would be simple to just buy a bed and frame and it was much more complicated then I care for and I had to sleep on the floor longer waiting for the parts ... show more
