Too early to tell but it's only been 1 month and this product was suggested to me by a coworker whose dog was also eating other dogs poop but after using this product she said her dog stopped. I have yet to see THAT results but if it is good for my dogs then I will continue to use it on my 4 Labs....they like the taste, good for their health and they seem to have more energy. ... show more

I have two Jack Russells that have allergies. My friend hears about this product all the time on the radio and suggested it. I ordered it, hopeful that it would help. It looks like chopped up grass and saw dust. It doesn’t mix whatsoever with dry dog food, so you have to mix with water. One dog has no issues, as he eats anything but the other turned her nose up at it. I had to buy chicken to add to her bowl for her to eat it. Serving for my size dogs is a full scoop a day. I divided it between their two meals and that was fine. However I had one of those mornings and missed the dose, so put the entire scoop in their evening meal. My chowhound male threw it up and my female walked away from her bowl. I am at a loss as to how it has done wonders for any dog, as it has done absolutely nothing for mine. Not one change. Except empty my wallet. Since the bag and advertisements say 90 day guarantee, I tried to return. 90 day guarantee? Not so much. It’s not returnable. Save your money! ... show more

We have a 7 year old German Shepherd Dog. He's been generally healthy, but a little bit on the itchy side and prone to diarrhea. About six months ago, something went very wrong with him and he lost most of his fur over the course of about 3 days and was severely itchy, to the point of having sores all over his body and not sleeping at night. The skin in his ears was bright red and inflamed. On most of his body, his skin was visible through the thin layer of fur that remained. He wasn't eating. He was just completely miserable and we were scared to death. Unfortunately, it was the height of COVID lockdown but we got him into his vet within a week. His vet didn't know what was wrong with him. She checked for fungi, mites, and bacteria. Once the tests came back, all were negative. She said it may be an allergy to something in the environment or it may be a food allergy. In the meantime I ordered a big box of Dinovite, having heard the commercials on the radio and being desperate. He didn't care for the taste at first, but we managed to get him to eat with his food by hand feeding him for a couple nights. (he eats if on his own now). Within about 2 weeks, his itching subsided. His fur completely grew back over the course of 2 or 3 months. His skin is no longer inflamed and is his normal pink color. His sores healed. His loose stools are even gone. I wish I had a before picture, but I've attached an after picture of Bingo during a break in a run -- completely happy and healthy again. I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now we are extremely happy and grateful for what Dinovite has done for our big guy. I know Dinovite isn't the cure-all for all dog skin ailments, but when it works, it really works! Update 11OCT2021 After supplementing our German Shepherd's food with the recommended amount for Dinovite every day for over a year, the condition of his skin and fur started to deteriorate again in the same way described in my original review... very itchy everywhere and losing most of his undercoat. We took him to a new vet who diagnosed him with an allergy, possibly to the mites that all dogs carry to some degree or to some external allergen in the environment. He prescribed a course of medication and almost a month into it, Bingo is looking great and, most importantly, itch free and happy. We've quit using Dinovite for the last couple of months. In no way to I believe Dinovite caused any harm to out dog. At the same time, I don't believe it actually helped. We just happened to start using in an upswing of or dog's cyclic/seasonal condition and we jumped on it as a ray of hope. I think it is probably a fine supplement, but I don't believe it provides any miraculous benefit or nutrition that is otherwise lacking in a dogs diet. ... show more

Great value and product. My Boston Terrier had such bad gas that she could clear a room! I read and researched Dinovite and saw that it was a good herbal supplement that I could easily mix into her food. Results - the gassiness has decreased as well as the odor.
